Summary of Sunni concepts
The defense of the people of truth against the people of falsehood is not limited to fighting
It is not necessary that the defense between truth and falsehood be only through jihad and fighting
Rather, fighting is the late stage of this conflict
Establishing an argument against falsehood and its people is a defense
Removing suspicion from the truth and its people is a defense
Enjoining good and forbidding evil is a defense
Patience in the face of affliction by enemies and steadfastness in religion is a defense
God Almighty commanded His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Mecca
Before imposing jihad and fighting, he ordered him to fight the infidels with the Qur’an
God Almighty said, “Do not obey the disbelievers, but fight them with a great struggle.”
And he, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Strive the polytheists with your money, your lives, and your tongues.”
