Chapter on the virtue of praying at night
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not pray more than 11 rak’ahs in Ramadan or at any other time.
He prays four rak'ahs, so do not ask about their beauty or length

He said: O Aisha, my eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep

Our Lord, praise be to you
Then he stood up for a long time, almost as long as he bowed
Then he prostrated and said
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High
His prostration was close to his standing

He asks God Almighty for good in this world and the hereafter
Except he gave it to him every night
