He said, “Are you arguing with me about God when he has guided me?” 00:04:37.430 --> 00:04:46.430 And I do not fear what you associate with Him unless my Lord wills something 00:04:46.430 --> 00:04:50.430 My Lord encompasses all things in knowledge 00:04:50.430 --> 00:04:54.430 Don't you remember? 00:04:54.430 --> 00:05:01.680 Abraham argued with his people regarding the monotheism of God and his innocence of idols 00:05:01.680 --> 00:05:10.680 Abraham said: Are you arguing with me about the monotheism of God and the sincerity of work to Him over any other gods? 00:05:10.680 --> 00:05:16.680 My Lord has enabled me to know His oneness and shown me the path of truth 00:05:16.680 --> 00:05:25.680 And I do not fear any of your gods that you call upon other than Him, because of evil and deception that would befall me within myself 00:05:25.680 --> 00:05:33.680 But my fear of God, who if he wanted to get me in my life or my money with whatever he wanted, got me with it 00:05:33.680 --> 00:05:38.680 And my Lord knows everything, so nothing is hidden from Him 00:05:38.680 --> 00:05:46.680 Do you not, O ignorant ones, consider and understand the error of what you are standing on in terms of your worship other than God? 00:05:46.680 --> 00:05:53.680 Leaving you is an act of worship of the One who created you, who created everything, and who has power over everything 00:05:53.680 --> 00:06:03.319 How can I fear what you have associated with others while you do not fear that you have associated others with God? 00:06:03.319 --> 00:06:14.319 And do not fear that you have associated with God what He did not reveal to you beforehand 00:06:14.319 --> 00:06:24.319 Which of the two groups is more deserving of security, if you knew? 00:06:24.319 --> 00:06:29.699 How can I fear and terrify what you have associated with your worship of your Lord? 00:06:30.699 --> 00:06:38.699 It does no harm or benefit, and you do not fear God who is able to join you in your worship of Him 00:06:38.699 --> 00:06:44.699 Unless he gives you evidence for his worship and does not provide you with proof of it 00:06:44.699 --> 00:06:53.699 I am more deserving of security from the outcome of my worshiping my Lord or you who worship idols other than God 00:06:53.699 --> 00:06:58.310 If you know the truth of what I say 00:06:58.310 --> 00:07:15.310 Those who believe and do not mix their faith with injustice - for them there is security and they are guided 00:07:15.310 --> 00:07:22.850 Those who believed God and worshiped Him sincerely and did not mix their worship with polytheism 00:07:22.850 --> 00:07:26.850 He is more deserving of security than those who associate others with their worship 00:07:26.850 --> 00:07:37.850 They are the ones who fear His punishment, their worship is abhorrent, and those who believe are the ones who follow the path of guidance and those who follow the path of salvation. 00:07:37.850 --> 00:07:56.839 And that is Our proof which We gave Abraham against his people. We raise in rank whomsoever We will. Indeed, your Lord is All-Wise, All-Knowing 00:07:56.839 --> 00:08:02.480 Meaning, God Almighty mentioned what Abraham said to his opponents 00:08:02.480 --> 00:08:13.480 Which of the two groups is more deserving of security? The one who worships one lord or the one who worships many lords and their judgment is for him upon themselves 00:08:13.480 --> 00:08:21.480 Thus, their excuse was cut off, their argument was cut off, and Abraham’s argument became superior to them 00:08:21.480 --> 00:08:29.480 This is our argument that we taught Abraham to his people. Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, is Wise in His policy, His creation, and in other matters of His management 00:08:39.570 --> 00:08:44.570 He knows what His messengers and those to whom are sent to Him say to Him 00:08:44.570 --> 00:09:07.370 And We gave him Isaac and Jacob, both of whom We guided, and Noah We guided before, and from his descendants David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron. 00:09:07.370 --> 00:09:11.370 Thus do We reward the doers of good 00:09:12.820 --> 00:09:22.820 So We rewarded Abraham by giving him children whom We designated for prophecy as his son, Isaac, and as his son, Jacob 00:09:22.820 --> 00:09:29.820 We guided all of them to the path of guidance and guided them to the truth and correct religions 00:09:29.820 --> 00:09:35.820 We guided Noah to such a thing before Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob 00:09:36.820 --> 00:09:44.820 We also guided from the descendants of Noah David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron 00:09:44.820 --> 00:09:51.820 And just as We rewarded these people with their good obedience to us and their patience in our tribulations 00:09:51.820 --> 00:09:55.820 Thus We reward every doer of good with goodness 00:09:55.820 --> 00:10:05.299 And Zechariah, Yahya, Isa, and Elias were all righteous 00:10:06.299 --> 00:10:13.679 And We are also guided to the example to which We guided Noah, of guidance and guidance from his descendants 00:10:13.679 --> 00:10:25.679 Zechariah, Yahya son of Zechariah, Jesus son of Mary, and Elias, all of whom we have mentioned are among those whom we have named among the righteous. 00:10:25.679 --> 00:10:38.129 And Ishmael, and Elisha, and Yunus, and Lot, and each of them We preferred over the worlds 00:10:38.129 --> 00:10:49.580 We also guided from the descendants of Noah Ishmael, Elisha, Yunus, and Lot, and We favored all of them over the world of their times. 00:10:49.580 --> 00:11:05.090 And from their fathers, their descendants, and their brothers, and We chose them and guided them to a straight path 00:11:05.090 --> 00:11:17.799 We also guided the fathers of these people and their descendants and other brothers besides them to the truth and the pure religion in which there is no polytheism. 00:11:17.799 --> 00:11:26.799 So we granted them success, chose them for our religion, guided them to a path that was not crooked 00:11:26.799 --> 00:11:42.559 This is the guidance of God, by which He guides whomever He wills from among His servants. And if they had associated others, what they were doing would have been nullified from them. 00:11:42.559 --> 00:11:52.139 That guidance is God’s grace and kindness with which He grants success to whomever He wills to whomever He loves among His creation 00:11:52.139 --> 00:12:05.139 If he had associated these prophets whom we have named, it would have been invalid, and the reward for the deeds they used to do would have been lost from them, because God does not accept any deeds associated with polytheism. 00:12:06.139 --> 00:12:26.940 These are those to whom We have given the Book, wisdom, and prophecy. If these disbelieve in it, then We have entrusted it to a people who are not disbelievers in it. 00:12:26.940 --> 00:12:42.580 These whom We have named among His prophets and messengers are those to whom We have given the Book, meaning by that the scrolls of Abraham, Moses, the Psalms of David, and the Gospel of Jesus. 00:12:42.580 --> 00:13:02.580 And We have given them understanding of the Book and knowledge of what is in it of rulings. If these polytheists disbelieve in it, O Muhammad, then We have enjoined upon our messengers and prophets before you to do it, who neither deny its truth nor disbelieve in it. 00:13:02.580 --> 00:13:22.250 Those are those whom God has guided, and with His guidance we follow. Say, “I do not ask you for any reward for it. It is only a reminder to the worlds.” 00:13:22.250 --> 00:13:37.990 These people are the ones whom God has guided to His true religion, so by the work they did and the path they followed, follow it, O Muhammad, so take it and follow it. Say to the polytheists of your people. 00:13:37.990 --> 00:13:55.990 I do not ask you to follow the guidance to which I am calling you and the Qur’an which I have brought to you as a substitute for it that I seek from you, and this from me is only a reminder to you and to everyone who is like you that the punishment and wrath of God may befall you. 00:13:55.990 --> 00:14:20.720 And God did not decree what He truly destined when they said, “God has not sent down anything to a human being.” Say, “Who sent down the Book that Moses brought as a light and a guidance for the people?” 00:14:20.720 --> 00:14:45.590 You will reveal it and conceal much, and you will know what neither you nor your fathers knew. Say, “God will leave them alone while they play.” 00:14:45.590 --> 00:15:06.480 And they did not venerate God as He deserved to be venerated when they said, “God has not sent down to any human being a book or a revelation.” Say, “Who sent down the book that Moses brought as a light from the darkness of error and a clarification for the people, clarifying to them truth from falsehood?” 00:15:06.480 --> 00:15:19.480 You make it a secret that you will show to the people, and you hide a lot, so you conceal it from the people, and among what they conceal is the matter of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. 00:15:19.480 --> 00:15:41.519 And God taught you by the Book what you did not know from the news of those before you and from the nobles after you, and your fathers did not know it. Say, “God revealed it to Moses, then leave them playing games, O Muhammad, for I am watching behind their mockery.” 00:15:41.519 --> 00:16:09.220 This is a book which We have sent down, blessed and authenticated by what is before it, and to warn the nation of villages and those around them, and those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it and they will maintain their prayers. 00:16:09.220 --> 00:16:28.080 And this Qur’an, O Muhammad, is written. We have revealed it to you, blessed, confirming what God wrote before it, without contradicting it, and with it you may warn of God’s punishment and misfortune to those in Mecca and those around it, east and west. 00:16:28.080 --> 00:16:43.080 And whoever believes in the coming of the Hour and the Day of Resurrection in the Hereafter, then he believes in this book that we have sent down to you and keeps the written prayers that God has commanded him to perform. 00:16:43.080 --> 00:17:12.599 And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie against God, or says, “It has been revealed to me,” but nothing has been revealed to him, and who says, “I will send down the like of what God has sent down.” And if only you could see, when the wrongdoers are in the depths of death, and the angels are stroking their hands. 00:17:12.599 --> 00:17:41.599 And the angels beat each other in their hands. Bring yourselves out today, and you will be recompensed with the torment of humiliation because you used to say about God other than the truth and you were disdainful of His signs. 00:17:42.599 --> 00:17:58.400 And who is wrong in word and ignorant in action, he who fabricates a lie about God and says that God revealed to me and nothing was revealed to him, or he says, “I will come down like what God said.” 00:17:58.400 --> 00:18:21.400 And if you could see, O Muhammad, when death overwhelms these oppressors with its intoxication, the angels run their hands, striking their faces and their backs, saying to them, “Expel yourselves to the wrath and curse of God, for today you will be rewarded for your disbelief in God with the torment of Hell.” 00:18:21.400 --> 00:18:32.400 The one who insults you and humiliates you because of your false statements against him and because of your arrogance in submitting to the command of God and the command of His Messenger. 00:18:32.400 --> 00:19:01.069 You have come to Us alone just as We created you the first time, and you have left what We granted you behind your backs, and we do not see with you your intercessors whom you claimed to be partners with you. 00:19:01.069 --> 00:19:10.640 There has been a rift between you and what you claimed has gone astray 00:19:10.640 --> 00:19:23.640 And you have come to us alone, with no wealth and nothing of what God has given you in this world, just as We created you the first time, naked, uncircumcised, and barefoot. 00:19:23.640 --> 00:19:32.640 O people, you have left behind what We have given you in this world, which you used to boast about and did not carry with you 00:19:32.640 --> 00:19:44.640 And we do not see with you your intercessors whom you claim will intercede for you with your Lord on the Day of Resurrection.
