00:00:00.880 --> 00:00:05.879
The Prophetic traditions are firmly established.

00:00:05.879 --> 00:00:11.250
Sitting while drinking is one such tradition.

00:00:11.250 --> 00:00:13.250
It is reported on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him)

00:00:13.250 --> 00:00:17.250
that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

00:00:17.250 --> 00:00:21.250
forbade a man from drinking while standing.
