And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah,

And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,

May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

To proceed, O servants of Allah:

Despite the great love of the Muslims

For their Prophet and their veneration of him,

And their reverence for his noble presence,

Their creed regarding him is

00:13:06.500 --> 00:13:09.600
That he is a human Messenger,

00:13:09.600 --> 00:13:11.600
A servant who is not to be worshipped,

00:13:11.600 --> 00:13:13.600
And a Messenger who is not to be belied.

00:13:13.600 --> 00:13:15.730
Rather, he is to be obeyed and loved,

00:13:15.730 --> 00:13:18.730
And revered and followed.

00:13:18.730 --> 00:13:21.730
Worship is based on what he legislated and followed,

00:13:22.730 --> 00:13:25.730
Not by inclination toward whims or innovation.

00:13:25.730 --> 00:13:29.759
It is a love as Allah clarified in the Qur'an,

00:13:29.759 --> 00:13:33.950
And as the Sunnah came to explain,

00:13:33.950 --> 00:13:37.950
And as his Companions, may the pleasure of Allah be upon them, acted.

00:13:37.950 --> 00:13:41.950
“Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (3:31)

00:13:41.950 --> 00:13:44.950
"Say, 'Follow me, [so] Allah will love you

00:13:44.950 --> 00:13:46.950
And forgive you your sins.'

00:13:46.950 --> 00:13:48.950
And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

Then know, O servants of Allah,

00:13:51.950 --> 00:13:55.950
That it is not permissible for anyone who is pleased with Allah as Lord,

00:13:55.950 --> 00:13:57.950
With Islam as a religion,

00:13:57.950 --> 00:14:00.950
And with Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

00:14:00.950 --> 00:14:02.950
As a Prophet and Messenger,

00:14:02.950 --> 00:14:03.950
To come forward

00:14:03.950 --> 00:14:07.950
And claim that for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

00:14:07.950 --> 00:14:09.950
There is something beyond this,

00:14:09.950 --> 00:14:14.950
Claiming that he loves and honors and reveres him,

00:14:14.950 --> 00:14:17.950
As is done by some who are afflicted with reviving innovations

00:14:17.950 --> 00:14:22.950
And causing the Sunnah to die, among those who hold in these days

00:14:22.950 --> 00:14:26.950
What is called the Prophetic birthday.

00:14:26.950 --> 00:14:28.950
And those who do not hold these celebrations,

00:14:28.950 --> 00:14:32.950
They consider them not to love Allah,

00:14:32.950 --> 00:14:34.950
Nor His Messenger.

00:14:34.950 --> 00:14:38.950
Indeed, celebrating the birthday of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

00:14:38.950 --> 00:14:41.950
Has no basis in the Shari'ah.

00:14:41.950 --> 00:14:44.950
The Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not do it,

00:14:45.950 --> 00:14:47.950
It was not part of his Sunnah,

00:14:47.950 --> 00:14:50.950
And his Companions did not do it after him,

00:14:50.950 --> 00:14:51.950
And they, by Allah,

00:14:51.950 --> 00:14:54.950
Were more loving to him, and purer,

00:14:54.950 --> 00:14:56.950
And cleaner, and more pious.

00:14:56.950 --> 00:15:00.950
And upon that, the path of the preferred generations continued.

00:15:00.950 --> 00:15:02.950
If it were good,

00:15:02.950 --> 00:15:04.950
They would have preceded us to it,

00:15:04.950 --> 00:15:08.950
For they were more intense than us in love and veneration

00:15:08.950 --> 00:15:12.950
For the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

00:15:12.950 --> 00:15:15.950
And they were more eager for goodness.

00:15:15.950 --> 00:15:19.080
Abu 'Amr ibn al-'Ala spoke well

00:15:19.080 --> 00:15:22.080
When he said: "People will remain in goodness

00:15:22.080 --> 00:15:25.080
As long as they are amazed by the amazing."

00:15:25.080 --> 00:15:30.080
For the month in which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was born

00:15:30.080 --> 00:15:33.080
Is the very same month in which he died.

00:15:33.080 --> 00:15:37.080
So joy in it is no more appropriate than grief.

00:15:37.080 --> 00:15:38.080
O servants of Allah,

00:15:38.080 --> 00:15:42.080
Our duty toward the great blessing of guidance

00:15:42.080 --> 00:15:44.080
Is to thank Allah the Exalted for it

00:15:44.080 --> 00:15:46.080
By holding fast to it,

00:15:46.080 --> 00:15:48.080
And biting onto it with our molars,

00:15:48.080 --> 00:15:51.080
And preserving it white and pure,

00:15:51.080 --> 00:15:55.080
Just as he, may the prayers and peace of my Lord be upon him, left it for us.

00:15:55.080 --> 00:15:57.080
And the duty upon us

00:15:57.080 --> 00:15:59.080
Is to follow his guidance

00:15:59.080 --> 00:16:01.080
By doing what he commanded,

00:16:01.080 --> 00:16:03.080
And avoiding what he forbade and warned against.

00:16:03.080 --> 00:16:07.080
And that we love him more than we love our own selves,

00:16:07.080 --> 00:16:08.080
Our children,

00:16:08.080 --> 00:16:09.080
Our fathers,

00:16:09.080 --> 00:16:11.080
And our mothers.

00:16:11.080 --> 00:16:15.080
And he has succeeded who followed his guidance.

00:16:15.080 --> 00:16:17.080
So hold fast to my Sunnah,

00:16:17.080 --> 00:16:20.080
And the Sunnah of the rightly-guided Caliphs after me;

00:16:20.080 --> 00:16:23.080
Bite onto it with your molars,

00:16:23.080 --> 00:16:26.080
And beware of newly invented matters,

00:16:26.080 --> 00:16:28.080
For every invention is an innovation,

00:16:28.080 --> 00:16:31.080
And every innovation is a misguidance.

00:16:31.080 --> 00:16:34.080
Now, send prayers and peace upon the best of Allah's creation,

00:16:34.080 --> 00:16:37.080
As the Deity has commanded you to do,

00:16:37.080 --> 00:16:39.080
For He, the Exalted in His highness, said:

“Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.” (33:56)

"O you who have believed,

“Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.” (33:56)

“Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.” (33:56)

O Allah, send prayers upon our master Muhammad,

The one of high status,

00:16:54.080 --> 00:16:55.080
The radiant light,

00:16:55.080 --> 00:16:57.080
And the exalted station,

00:16:57.080 --> 00:16:59.080
A prayer that is continuous,

00:16:59.080 --> 00:17:01.080
Connected in the morning and the evening,

00:17:01.080 --> 00:17:03.080
To the number of every tree,

00:17:03.080 --> 00:17:05.079
And clod of earth, and stone,

00:17:05.079 --> 00:17:07.079
And human, and jinn,

00:17:07.079 --> 00:17:10.079
A prayer by which we attain a pleasant life,

00:17:10.079 --> 00:17:13.079
So that there is no deprived or miserable person among us.

00:17:13.079 --> 00:17:15.079
For he is the Beloved, the Chosen,

00:17:15.079 --> 00:17:17.079
The best of Prophets,

00:17:17.079 --> 00:17:19.079
Who has no equal in creation.

00:17:19.079 --> 00:17:21.079
So send prayers, O Allah, upon him,

00:17:21.079 --> 00:17:24.079
A prayer by which we attain high rank.

00:17:24.079 --> 00:17:26.079
O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad,

00:17:26.079 --> 00:17:28.079
A prayer and peace

00:17:28.079 --> 00:17:30.079
That are eternal, most perfect, and most complete,

00:17:30.079 --> 00:17:33.079
As long as the night and day dawn.

00:17:33.079 --> 00:17:36.079
O Allah, just as we were deprived of seeing him in this world,

00:17:36.079 --> 00:17:38.079
Gather us with him in the Gardens of Bliss.

00:17:38.079 --> 00:17:40.079
O Allah, make us among the people of his Sunnah.

00:17:40.079 --> 00:17:42.079
And followers of his path.

00:17:42.079 --> 00:17:44.079
And bring us to his Basin.

00:17:44.079 --> 00:17:46.079
And let us drink from his noble hand.

00:17:46.079 --> 00:17:48.079
A drink so wholesome.

00:17:48.079 --> 00:17:50.079
That we shall never thirst after it again.

00:17:50.079 --> 00:17:52.079
O Allah, reward him on our behalf.

00:17:52.079 --> 00:17:54.079
With the best reward You have ever granted a prophet for his Ummah.

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad.

As long as those who remember him continue to remember him.

And as long as those who are heedless remain heedless of his remembrance.

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad.

To the number of the leaves on the trees.

00:18:04.079 --> 00:18:06.079
And to the number of the particles of dust.

00:18:06.079 --> 00:18:08.079
And to the number of the raindrops.

00:18:08.079 --> 00:18:10.079
And to the number of times the night and day alternate.

00:18:10.079 --> 00:18:12.079
And to the number of times flowers have bloomed.

00:18:12.079 --> 00:18:14.079
O Allah, O Hearer of supplication.

00:18:14.079 --> 00:18:16.079
O You whose bounty is vast.

00:18:16.079 --> 00:18:18.079
O One, O Unique.

00:18:18.079 --> 00:18:20.079
O You, other than whom none is worshipped.

00:18:20.079 --> 00:18:22.079
And other than whom none is sought.

00:18:22.079 --> 00:18:24.079
Whose decree cannot be turned back.

00:18:24.079 --> 00:18:26.079
Whose attribute is the Eternal Refuge.

00:18:26.079 --> 00:18:28.079
“He begetteth not nor was begotten.” (112:3)

00:18:28.079 --> 00:18:30.079
Who has counted everything by number.

00:18:30.079 --> 00:18:32.079
Grant us, O Allah, a supplication that is not rejected.

00:18:32.079 --> 00:18:34.079
And a provision that cannot be counted.

00:18:34.079 --> 00:18:36.079
And cannot be numbered.

00:18:36.079 --> 00:18:38.079
And open for us a door to Paradise that shall never be closed.

00:18:38.079 --> 00:18:40.079
O Allah, we ask You.

00:18:40.079 --> 00:18:42.079
For Your pleasure and for Paradise.

00:18:42.079 --> 00:18:44.079
And we seek refuge in You from Your wrath and from the Fire.

00:18:44.079 --> 00:18:46.079
O Allah, grant us security in our homelands.

00:18:46.079 --> 00:18:48.079
And rectify our leaders and those in authority over us.

00:18:48.079 --> 00:18:50.079
And grant victory to our soldiers at the borders.

00:18:50.079 --> 00:18:52.079
And grant victory to our oppressed brothers and sisters.

00:18:52.079 --> 00:18:54.079
In every place.

00:18:54.079 --> 00:18:56.079
O Allah, forgive the one who built this mosque.

00:18:56.079 --> 00:18:58.079
And reward him with the best of rewards.

00:18:58.079 --> 00:19:00.079
And just as You have gathered us in one of Your houses.

00:19:00.079 --> 00:19:02.079
Gather us in gardens and rivers.

00:19:02.079 --> 00:19:04.079
In a seat of truth.

00:19:04.079 --> 00:19:06.079
In the presence of a Sovereign, All-Powerful.

00:19:06.079 --> 00:19:08.079
O Allah, we love You.

00:19:08.079 --> 00:19:10.079
So do not withhold Your grace from us because of our sins.

00:19:10.079 --> 00:19:12.079
“Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him)” (37:180)

00:19:12.079 --> 00:19:14.079
And peace be upon the messengers.

00:19:14.079 --> 00:19:16.079
And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
