1
00:00:00,820 --> 00:00:06,059
A hadith and commentary

2
00:00:06,059 --> 00:00:10,339
It is recorded in the authentic collections that a man drank alcohol.

3
00:00:10,339 --> 00:00:14,619
He was brought to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

4
00:00:14,619 --> 00:00:16,140
He was then flogged.

5
00:00:16,140 --> 00:00:17,899
A man said,

6
00:00:17,899 --> 00:00:20,289
"O Allah, curse him!"

7
00:00:20,289 --> 00:00:23,890
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said,

8
00:00:23,890 --> 00:00:25,690
"Do not curse him."

9
00:00:25,690 --> 00:00:29,370
"For he loves Allah and His Messenger."

10
00:00:29,370 --> 00:00:31,570
Commentary:

11
00:00:31,609 --> 00:00:34,929
Fill your heart with the love of Allah and His Messenger.

12
00:00:34,929 --> 00:00:39,250
For that is among the greatest causes of forgiveness and contentment,

13
00:00:39,250 --> 00:00:41,850
and of the immense goodness that comes from Allah.
