Riyadh al-Salehin from the words of the Master of Messengers, may God bless him and grant him peace
Chapter on what is prayed for the patient
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both
On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said
Whoever visits a sick person whose time has not come to him
He said it seven times
I ask God Almighty, Lord of the Great Throne, to heal you
May God protect him from that disease

One of the benefits of talking
Whoever asks for something great from God
For He, Glory be to Him, is not arrogant because of His greatness
God Almighty responds to the prayers of His servants and makes them happy
Whoever has this supplication said, may God protect him from his illness
As stated in the news of Al-Sadiq Al-Maduq
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered upon a Bedouin to visit him
And when he visited someone he used to visit, he would say:
There is nothing wrong with purification, God willing

Purifying your illness purifies you from your sin
And your bad deeds will be expiated, God willing

There is no shortage of the Imam visiting a sick member of his flock
Even if he was a dry Bedouin
Likewise, the value of the world does not diminish
If the ignorant person visits or returns to teach him
He reminds him of what benefits him
He orders him to be patient
That he should not be displeased with God’s destiny and become displeased with it
It is recommended for the patient to comfort the patient about his pain
He reminds him of his reward because of his affliction
The intensity of the Prophet’s concern for his companions, may God bless him and grant him peace
And lose it to them
Find out their conditions and visit them
And pray for their well-being
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him
Gabriel came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said:
Oh Muhammad, I complained
He said yes
He said, “In the name of God, I perform ruqyah for you.”
From everything that hurts you
From the evil of every soul or envious eye
May God heal you
In the name of God, I promote you

It is permissible to perform ruqyah using the names and attributes of God Almighty
Emphasis and repetition of ruqyah and supplication
It is permissible for a Muslim to perform ruqyah for another if it is lawful
He also promotes himself
The patient's answer when asked about his illness is not boredom
Proof of the effect of envy
And the eye has an ugly effect on the eye
Therefore, Gabriel, peace be upon him, sought refuge with God from them
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri
And Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with them
They testified that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Whoever says there is no god but God
God is great
His Lord believed him
He said: There is no god but Me
And I'm growing up
And if he says there is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner
He said: There is no god but Me alone, I have no partner
And if he says there is no god but God
To Him belongs the kingdom and to Him is praise
He said there is no god but me
Mine is the kingdom and praise is mine
And if he says: There is no god but God, and there is no power nor strength except with God, he says: There is no god but Me, and there is no power nor strength except with Me
He used to say that whoever said it during his illness and then died, Hell would not feed him

During his illness, a Muslim is cut off from this world and turns to God and what God has prepared for the righteous
God Almighty loves His servant to remind him and praise him for what he deserves
Whoever loves to meet God, God loves to meet him, benefits him well, and sends him to the abode of His dignity
Chapter on the desirability of asking the patient’s family about his condition
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, that Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him
He left the presence of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the pain in which he died
The people said: O Abu Al-Hassan, how did the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wake up in the morning?
He said, “Thank God, he has become well.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari. “He has recovered,” meaning he has recovered from the illness

It is desirable to ask about the patient’s condition if it is difficult to reach him for some reason
Such as an illness or taking medication, in which case it is permissible to ask his family about his condition
It is permissible to be optimistic about the good for the patient
Whoever asks about the patient's condition should answer as stated
Which makes the patient feel satisfied with what he is in with God Almighty
And he continues to praise and thank Him, and no hardship or hardship has changed him
This indicates the lightness of his illness and the nearness of his recovery
An explanation of the Companions’ concern for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
As he was checking on them and asking about them
They took this character from him and presented it to themselves and their approach
It is desirable to call a man by his nickname
And love Him with it
Chapter on what he says about his life
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said
I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, while leaning on me, saying
Oh God, forgive me and have mercy on me
Join me with the superior comrade

One of the benefits of talking
Explaining that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, had a choice between life and death
So he chose death because of what was good for him and to meet his Lord Almighty
Prophets know the time of their death
God makes them feel this
Or he tells them while they are on their deathbed
The patient should ask for forgiveness and mercy
And not to despair of the Spirit of God and not to despair of His mercy
It is desirable for a believer to abound in goodness on his deathbed
Whoever loves to meet God, God will love to meet him
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said
I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, dying
He has a cup of water
He puts his hand into the mug
Then he wipes his face with water and says
Oh God, help me in the depths of death and the agony of death
Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi
The depths of death, that is, its hardships
The throes of death, i.e. its precursors that overwhelm the soul
Until she lost sight of it
One of the benefits of talking
It is permissible to use water to relieve the fever of death
Turning to God eases the agony of death for the dying person
Explaining that death brings intoxication and distress
Even the prophets, may God’s prayers and peace be upon them
They asked to reduce these sugars
It is recommended for the dying person to be thankful to God Almighty with his heart and tongue
Remembering that this is his last time in this world
He strives to seal it with goodness with the testimony of monotheism
He hates the dying person's moaning and distress
Bad manners, cursing, quarreling, and disputing
Chapter on the desirability of making a bequest to the sick person’s family and those who serve him by treating him kindly
And patience when things are difficult
The same applies to a will for someone whose death is due to be punished, retaliation, or the like
On the authority of Imran bin Al-Hussein, may God be pleased with them both
A woman from Juhayna came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
It is a strand of adultery
She said: O Messenger of God, I have committed a punishment, so impose it on me
So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, called her guardian
He said, “Be good to her.”
If it is delivered, bring it to me
So he did
So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered it
She tightened her clothes around her
Then he ordered her to be stoned
Then he prayed over her

Chapter on the permissibility of the patient’s statement
I am in pain or very sore
Or Ma'uk or Wa Rasa

It is clear that there is no objection to that
If it is not a matter of dissatisfaction and dismay
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him, he said
I entered upon the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he was feeling unwell
So I touched him
I said that you are very unwell
He said yes
I am as worried as two of you are

You are feeling unwell
It is the pain and severity of fever
One of the benefits of talking
If the illness becomes severe, the reward will be great
If it exceeds it, it reduces his sins
The permissibility of the saints being attached to the prophets
Because of their closeness to them
Even if their rank is lower than them
The strong person is more afflicted with affliction
And the weak is kind to him
However, the stronger the knowledge of the afflicted person
The affliction was easy for him
Some of them look forward to calamity
To make it easier for him
It is permissible to touch the patient to know his condition
On the authority of Saad bin Abi Waqqas, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to me
It brings me back from severe pain
So I said
Tell me what you see
And I have money
Only my daughter can inherit from me

Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said
And his head

Permissibility of doubt and the patient
If it is not by way of dissatisfaction with fate and boredom
The pain no one can take away
Souls are made to feel this
It is not possible to change it from what it was made of
Rather, he instructed the servant not to fall into it in the event of a calamity
What there is no way to let go of
Such as exaggerated groaning and excessive anxiety
Because whoever does that has departed from the meanings of the people of patience
Merely complaining is not reprehensible
Until dissatisfaction with the destined occurs
Agreeing on the dislike of a servant complaining to his Lord
And his complaint, may God bless him and grant him peace
It is just a way to remind people
Not out of boredom
There is evidence that the death of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Before Aisha, may God be pleased with her
Death may be preceded by a feeling that it is approaching
