A chapter on fasting during Ramadan and an explanation of the virtue of fasting and what is related to it
God Almighty said
O you who have believed, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you
To what God Almighty says
The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion
Whoever of you witnesses the month, let him fast
Whoever is sick or on a journey, then a number of other days
Verse
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
God Almighty said
Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting, for it is for Me and I will reward for it
Fasting is paradise
If it is a day for one of you to fast, he should not be obscene or befriend
If anyone insults him or fights him, let him say, “I am fasting.”
By the One in whose hand is Muhammad’s soul
Because of the smell of fast food, it is better in the sight of God than the scent of musk
The fasting person has two joys that make him happy
If he breaks his fast, he is happy to break his fast
And when he meets his Lord, he will be happy with his fast

He leaves his food, drink, and desire for me
Fasting is for me and I will reward it
A good deed is multiplied tenfold
And in a narration by Muslim
Every work of the son of Adam will be doubled

Except fasting
It is for Me and I will reward it
He calls upon his desire and food for me
The fasting person has two joys
He is happy when he breaks his fast
And joy when meeting his Lord
And the smell of it is more pleasant to God than the scent of musk

God Almighty guarantees that the fasting person will be rewarded for his fasting
This is because fasting is an act of worship between the servant and his Lord
And the sincerity involved
In response to God, fatigue and fatigue
Only God knows his destiny
Therefore, every work has a limited reward
Multiplies up to seven hundred times
Except fasting
His reward is without account
Fasting is protection from hellfire
And protection from the sins that lead to it
And a barrier to committing forbidden things
The fasting person trains and disciplines himself to obey
He accustoms her to tolerating harm
Seeking God's pleasure
Teaching people to respect the sanctities of God
One does not exceed it
It is permissible to inform people of obedience
If this results in an interest or harm
Therefore, the fasting person says:
I am fasting, it will be through audible words
Let the cursing and the fighter come down
The odor of the fasting person's mouth will appear to God on the Day of Resurrection
Better than the scent of musk we have in this world
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him

Whoever spends two pairs for the sake of God
We call from the gates of heaven
Oh Abdullah, this is good
Whoever is one of the people of prayer
He was called for prayer
And whoever is among the people of jihad
He was called for the sake of jihad
And whoever is among the people of fasting
He was called from the gate of Riyaam
And whoever is among the people of charity
He was invited out of charity
Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, said
May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Messenger of God
Necessity. Is anyone called from all of these doors? He said yes, and I hope you are among them. Agreed upon. One of the benefits of the hadith is the statement that Paradise has doors upon which it rests
The obedient angels are divided into these chapters from the servants who are called from all these chapters to prove the virtue of Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him.
On the authority of Sahl bin Saad, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said that there is a door in Paradise called Al-Rayyan through which those who fast will enter on the Day of Resurrection.
No one but them will enter from it. It is said, “Where are the fasting people?” Then they stand up and no one except them will enter from it. If they enter, it is closed and no one enters from it. Agreed upon.
Al-Rayyan is a proper name for one of the gates of Paradise. It is specific to the entry of those who are fasting through it. Its wording suits its meaning because it is derived from irrigation, and it is appropriate for the condition of those who are fasting.
He sufficed with mentioning irrigation rather than satiation, because it requires it, but it is more difficult for the fasting person than hunger, and God knows best
Among the benefits of the hadith, God Almighty has allocated for those who are fasting one of the eight gates of Paradise. If they enter it, it will be closed. Whoever enters the gate of Al-Rayyan will never feel thirsty.
On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “There is no servant who fasts a day for the sake of God except that on that day God will remove his face from Hell for seventy years.” Agreed upon.
Autumn, any year
One of the benefits of the hadith urging voluntary fasting is an explanation of the virtue of voluntary fasting, which seeks the face of God
Whoever is not weakened by fasting from jihad, then he should fast to combine the two virtues, singling out autumn for remembrance, because autumn is the purest season because fruits are reaped in it.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking the reward of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. Agreed upon.
In faith and hope
That is, believing in its obligation and desiring its reward, he is good for himself, he is not averse to fasting, he is not burdened by his prayer, and he is not long in his days.
One of the benefits of the hadith is an explanation of the virtue of Ramadan and its high status, and that it is the month of fasting. Whoever fasts it, his sins and sins will be forgiven, even if they are like sea foam.
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “When Ramadan comes, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained up.” Agreed upon.
Shackled means shackles, which means chain
Among the benefits of hadith: In the month of Ramadan, the gates of Heaven are opened, and in the month of Ramadan, the gates of Hell are closed, due to the lack of evil and transgressions.
In the month of Ramadan, evil is reduced on earth, such that the devils are chained up and the jinn are tied up with chains, shackles, and handcuffs
They do not devote themselves to corrupting people as they used to devote themselves to them in other situations
Opening the gates of heaven, closing the gates of hellfire, and chaining up the jinn’s rebels takes place on the first night of the month of Ramadan
There is no excuse for seeking evil because the causes of evil have stopped or decreased, so goodness is not forbidden in the month of goodness unless he is deprived
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Fast when you see it and break your fast when you see it. If it disappears from you, then complete the number of days of Sha`ban as thirty

In a narration by Muslim, if it is cloudy for you, fast for thirty days

Fasting is related to the visual sighting of the crescent
It is not permissible to fast by reckoning and the like

If clouds obscure the vision, it is necessary to complete Sha`ban in thirty days
Chapter on generosity, doing good, and doing a lot of good in the month of Ramadan
And more than that in the last ten days of it
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the most generous of people
He was the best in Ramadan when Gabriel met him
Gabriel used to meet him every night of Ramadan and study the Qur’an with him
To the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, when Gabriel meets him
More generous with goodness than the blowing wind

That is, the absolute wind whose blow lasts and is beneficial

Especially in Ramadan, as it is the month of obedience and the season of good deeds
Gabriel, peace be upon him, was studying the Qur’an with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
And that time is the month of Ramadan
It includes the approval of the school with the time of disembarkation
Students and scholars should study knowledge among themselves
So that he does not forget and learn from them
Encourage goodness at all times
It is desirable to increase it when meeting with righteous people and during the month of Ramadan
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said
Whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered the tithe
He revived the night, woke up his family, and tightened the apron

Chapter: It is forbidden to precede Ramadan with fasting after half of Shaban
Except for those who connect it to what came before it
Or usually agreed to it

None of you should precede Ramadan by fasting a day or two
Unless it was a man who was observing his fast

Do not fast before Ramadan

Whoever fasts the day he doubts
He disobeyed Abu Al-Qasim, may God bless him and grant him peace
