The Garden of Guidance.
Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said:
“And those who afterwards believed and left their homes and strove along with you, they are of you; and those who are akin are nearer one to another in the ordinance of Allah. Lo! Allah is Knower of all things.” (8:75)
"And blood relatives are closer to one another in the decree of Allah.
Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things."
And on the authority of 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, who said:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Kinship is suspended from the Throne,
saying:
'Whoever maintains me, Allah will maintain ties with him;
and whoever cuts me off, Allah will cut him off.'"
Related by Muslim.
Thus,
'Amr ibn Dinar, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
"Know that there is no step taken after fulfilling the obligatory duty
that carries a greater reward than a step taken toward a relative."
