Banu Hanifa delegation
A delegation from Banu Hanifa came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
Among them is Musaylimah Ibn Habib al-Hanafi, the liar
The two sheikhs narrated it in their Sahihs
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said
Musaylimah the liar came during the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
So he started saying
If Muhammad gives me the command after him, I will follow him
He introduced it to many of his people
So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to him
And with him was Thabit Ibn Qais Ibn Shammas, may God be pleased with him
In the hand of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was a piece of palm tree
Until he met Musaylimah among his companions and said:
If you had asked me for this piece, I would not have given it to you
You will not transgress God’s command in you
And if you turn back, God will make you stunned
And I see you in whom I saw what I saw
This is fixed and answers you for me
Then he left him
Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them, said
So I asked about what the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
You see the one in whom I showed what I showed
Then Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, informed me
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
While I'm sleeping
I saw two gold bracelets in my hand
I was concerned about them
So I was inspired in a dream to blow them
So I blew them and they flew
So I thought they were liars who will come out later
One of them is Al-Ansi and the other is Musaylimah
Imam Al-Nawawi said
Musaylimah, the liar, is the enemy of God
He gathered large groups of Banu Hanifa and others
From the Arab fools and their mobs
He intended to fight the Companions, may God be pleased with them
Following the death of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
So Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, prepared armies for him
Their prince is Khalid bin Al-Walid, may God be pleased with him
Year 11 AH
So they fought him
They appeared on Musaylimah
So they killed him as an infidel

Al-Hafiz said in Al-Fath
The context of this story contradicts what Ibn Ishaq mentioned
He came with a delegation of his people
And they left him on their journey to preserve it for them
They mentioned it to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
And they took his award from him
And he told them that he is not your human being
Musaylimah did not claim that he shared prophethood with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

They were afraid of the mubahala and rejected it
Imam Al-Qurtubi said
This verse is one of the signs of the prophecy of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
Because he invited them to the Mubahalah, but they refused
They were satisfied with the tribute after their chief, the punisher, informed them
If they destroy it, the valley will be engulfed in fire
Muhammad is a sent prophet
And you know that he brought you the decision on the matter of Jesus
So they left the Mubahala and departed to their country
Imam Bukhari narrated in his Sahih
On the authority of Hudhayfah, may God be pleased with him, he said
Al-Aqib and Al-Sayyid, companions of Najran, came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace

One of them said to his friend, “Don’t do it.”
By God, if he was a prophet, then he is not on our authority
Neither we nor our descendants will succeed
Imam Ahmad narrated it in his Musnad with an authentic chain of transmission
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said
If those who insult the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out
They would return with no money or family
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, accepted that from them
Then he agreed with them on the tribute
Abu Dawud narrated it in his Sunan with a weak chain of transmission
And there is evidence
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, made peace with the people of Najran for two thousand suits
Half at zero
And half in Rajab
They give it to Muslims
And bare thirty shields
And thirty horses
Thirty camels
Thirty of each type of weapon
They invade it
Muslims are a guarantor for it until they return it to them
If there is a plot or treachery in Yemen
Provided that you do not destroy their sale
No priest will come out for them
They will not be tempted from their religion
Unless they happen an event or eat usury
He sent Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah, may God be pleased with him, with them
When they wanted to return to their country
They said to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
We will give you what you asked us
He sent with us an honest man
And send with us only a trustworthy person
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
I will send with you an honest, trustworthy and trustworthy man
The companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, looked forward to her

Get up, Abu Ubaidah Ibn Al-Jarrah
