On the authority of Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

if you cook a broth, increase its water,

and look after your neighbors."

Do not speak of what you do,

and protect the honor and family of your neighbor,

and there is brotherhood and etiquette within neighborhoods.

In the Sahihayn, he said:

"Let him honor his neighbor,"

and he said:

"He should not harm his neighbor."

In the extra broth, when offered with kindness,

there is goodness and purity,

and it is more beneficial than an extravagant gift or a luxurious item

that is boasted of everywhere

without regard for sanctity or the rights of neighborliness.
