For the oppressor does not desire the truth in its entirety.
Rather, he only seeks from the reformer that which serves his own personal benefit and interests.
As for the ignorant person, he does desire the truth.
Yet, he misunderstands it and misapplies it.
Consequently, he perceives the reformer as an enemy of the truth.
