The essence of the concepts of Ahl al-Sunnah
Specifically, among the necessities of faith in our Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
In addition to what has preceded concerning the [other] Messengers.
We are obligated, first and foremost, concerning our Messenger specifically:
To obey him in all that he commands.
And to abstain from all that he forbids and warns against.
Secondly,
That we do not worship Allah except by what Allah has legislated for us through the tongue of His Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
Thirdly,
That we offer sincere advice to him.
As the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"The religion is sincere advice."
We asked, "To whom, O Messenger of Allah?"
He replied:
"To Allah, His Book, His Messenger,"
"And to the leaders of the Muslims and their common people."
