In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Within the embrace of Allah, happiness pours into the hearts.
Increase your closeness to the Most Merciful.
The Muhammad Ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Musa Mosque,

"The Musk of Discourse,"
by Sheikh Usama Bahr, may Allah preserve him.
Everyone who obeys the Lord dissolves into the sweetest feeling.
Act quickly before you are overtaken.
Take the initiative yourself and do not wait for your fate,
for you do not know when it will come.
Do not look at the smallness of the sin,
but look at the greatness of the One you have disobeyed.
He is Allah, the Creator, the First,
the Originator of all beginnings,
and the Last, who remains after all endings.
Whoever contemplates the greatness and majesty of Allah
will honor His sacred boundaries and esteem Him as He deserves to be esteemed.
He will revere His commands and prohibitions,
and will consider his own sin grave, even if it is small,
for it is like a mountain
that he fears will fall upon him and destroy him.
His heart is as if it were between the wings of a bird [trembling with awe].
You find him broken-hearted,
with flowing tears,
finding a lesson in every event.
So act quickly, and beware of the minor sins,
for they have one who will demand them from Allah.
Act quickly to return grievances
to their rightful owners or seek their absolution,
and ask for their forgiveness,
for repentance is not complete without that.
It has been authentically reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
said: "Rights will surely be restored
to their owners on the Day of Resurrection,
until the hornless sheep is satisfied
by the horned sheep."
He, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, also said:
"Whoever has committed an injustice against his brother,
let him seek his absolution today,
before there is neither dirham nor dinar."
If he has good deeds, [they will be taken],
and if he has no good deeds,
the sins of his counterpart will be taken
and cast upon him.
In the Hadith Qudsi,
Allah says on the Day of Resurrection:
"I am the King, I am the Judge."
It is not fitting for anyone among the people of Paradise
to enter Paradise
while someone else has a grievance against him, even a slap,
because on the Day of Resurrection,
you will dispute before your Lord.
When death approached 'Ubada Ibn al-Samit,
may Allah be pleased with him, he said: "Bring out
my bed to the courtyard of the house."
They brought it out, and he said:
"Gather for me my dependents, my servants,
my neighbors, and those who used to visit me."
They gathered them for him,
and he said: "My time in this world is coming to an end,
and this night is the first night of the Hereafter.
I do not know
if I have committed any wrong against any of you
with my hand or my tongue.
By Him in whose hand is the soul of 'Ubada,
there is retribution on the Day of Resurrection.
I adjure anyone among you who feels
that I have wronged him in any way to come forward."
They all wept and cried out, saying:
"Rather, you were a father,
a teacher, and a guide to us."
He said: "You offer me tears,
but what good are tears? Have you forgiven me?"
They cried out and said: "Yes."
He said: "O Allah, bear witness.
O Allah, bear witness.
O Allah, bear witness.
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah."
Then he met Allah.
If only people today,
whose records are full of grievances,
would look as 'Ubada Ibn al-Samit looked.
So, it is about taking the initiative before
the end comes. Act quickly with repentance
and return grievances to their owners
before you are overtaken.
Happiness is in the hearts.
Increase your closeness
to the Most Merciful, so that
joy may embrace you.
Attach your soul
to your Lord and fill
the horizons with light.
For whoever obeys the Lord
dissolves into the sweetest feeling.
There is darkness, then light,
and revelation follows it.
If Allah wills
a thing, He says to it,
"Be," and it is.
