A new challenge from me
I am one of the great companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
His son-in-law and minister
I converted to Islam in the sixth year of the mission

The Ansar gathered in Saqifa Bani Saida
To choose the caliph
So I said, Abu Bakr
Take us to our brothers from the Ansar
So we went to them
So we came to them while they were in the Saqifah of Banu Sa`idah
Then their fiancé stood up
So we praised God for what He deserved
Then he said as for what follows
We are the Ansar and the Faith Battalion
You, the Muhajireen, are a group of us
Among us is the prince
When he remained silent
I wanted to share an article that I liked
Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, said to me
On your messengers
I knew his grandfather
I hated to make him angry
He was better than me, more agreeable and more honorable
Then he spoke
By God, he did not leave out a word that I liked
Except he said it better
Until he fell silent
Then he said as for what follows
Whatever good you mentioned is among you, Ansar
And you are his family and better than him
The Arabs will not know this
Except for this neighborhood of Quraish
They are the average Arab in lineage and education
I have accepted one of these two men for you
So pledge allegiance to whichever you wish
He took my hand and the hand of Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah, may God be pleased with him
I did not dislike anything that anyone else said
Then a man from the Ansar stood up and said
From us is a prince and from you is a prince, O community of immigrants
There was a lot of confusion and voices rose
I was so afraid to disagree
So I stood up and said
Extend your hand, Abu Bakr
So he extended his hand and I pledged allegiance to him
So the immigrants stood up and pledged allegiance to him
Then the Ansar, may God be pleased with them, pledged allegiance to him
God sufficed the believers with strife after the death of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
The Muslims were united, thank God
