Verse and interpretation
God Almighty said
And do not consume your wealth among yourselves unjustly and give it to the rulers
Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them, said
He is a man who has money and there is no clear evidence of it
He denies the money and disputes with the rulers
He knows that he is right
He knows that he is a sinner who eats forbidden things
Mujahid and Al-Hassan said
Qatadah, Ikrimah, and Al-Suddi
Meaning: Do not quarrel while you are unjust
