Allah the Exalted says:
“Say: In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy: therein let them rejoice. It is better than what they hoard.” (10:58)
Ibn Kathir, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
Allah has bestowed a great favor upon His creation by revealing the Magnificent Qur'an,
unto His noble Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
through which guidance and mercy from Allah the Exalted are attained.
And because of this guidance and the religion of truth that has come to them from Allah,
they should rejoice, for it is the most worthy thing for them to rejoice over.
It is better than all the worldly debris they amass,
and all the fleeting, transient splendor that it inevitably contains.
