On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him, he said
The believer has no rest without meeting God
He entered upon Makhoul, may God have mercy on him, during his illness in which he died
It was said to him: May God grant you good health, Abu Abdullah
He said: Attachment to someone whose pardon is hoped for
It is better than staying with someone who does not believe in his evil
Sufyan Al-Thawri, may God have mercy on him, said
No soul is dearer to me than myself
If I had it in my hand, I would have sent it
The situation of some predecessors who wish for longevity in order to increase their work
Omar, may God be pleased with him, said
If it were not for three things, I would have loved to have met God
If I had not put my forehead to God
Or sit in a session where good words are selected
Dates are also well selected
Or to walk in the path of God Almighty
The condition of some kings, princes, and sinners at death
Omar bin Al-Asir, may God be pleased with him, said while he was dying
Oh God, there is no power, so be victorious
I am not innocent, so I apologize
Oh God, I am the abode of a sinner seeking forgiveness
When Abdul Aziz bin Marwan attended his death, he said:
Bring me the shroud in which you will shroud me
When it was placed in his hands
They don't care about his back
So they heard him saying

How short you are and how short you are
When the good tidings came to him, he gave him good news of his wealth arriving in the year
Malik said
He said, “This is three hundred golden pendants.”

When Bishr bin Marwan was dying, he said:
By God, I wish I were an Ethiopian slave

Abdul Malik bin Marwan fell ill
During his illness, he began to disparage the world and say:
Your long is short
And your many is little
And I am proud of you
He looked at a washerman twisting a garment with his hand
He said: If I wished I was a washer
I eat what I earn
I did not have any of this matter
This reached Abu Hazim and he said:
Praise be to God who made them
If they are dying, they wish what we are
If we are dying, we do not wish for what they are in
Sufyan said
Praise be to God who made them flee to us
We do not flee to them
And the victor made the statement while plotting with himself
And someone says
There is nothing wrong with you, O Commander of the Faithful
He said, "Nothing but this."
This world and the hereafter are gone
Al-Rabi’ bin Barrah, may God have mercy on him, said:
I saw a man in the Levant called
He is in death
Say there is no god but Allah
He said, "Drink and give it to him."
A man was told that he was dying
Say there is no god but Allah
He said: There is no way between me and her
Abdul Aziz bin Abi Rawad, may God have mercy on him, said
I attended a man in distress
So I started telling him
Say there is no god but Allah
And he was saying
At the end of that, I told him

He said how much do you say?
I am a disbeliever in what you say

So I asked his wife about his situation
She said he was an alcoholic
Abdul Aziz used to say:

He said, may God have mercy on him

So he started saying
A penny for God

Some merchants told me about his relatives
He was dying while he was there
And let them teach him there is no god but God
And he says
This piece is cheap
This is a good buy
This is such and such
Until he spent
A life of peace
And God's mercy
