The Garden of Guidance. Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, said: “The devil promiseth you destitution and enjoineth on you lewdness. But Allah promiseth you forgiveness from Himself with bounty. Allah is All-Embracing, All-knowing.” (2:268) “The devil promiseth you destitution and enjoineth on you lewdness. But Allah promiseth you forgiveness from Himself with bounty. Allah is All-Embracing, All-knowing.” (2:268) "And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing." On the authority of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), relating from his Lord, that He said: "O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and put your hope in Me, I will forgive you for whatever you have done. O son of Adam, if you were to meet Me with sins nearly filling the earth, I would meet you with an equal amount of forgiveness, as long as you do not associate anything with Me. O son of Adam, if you were to commit sins until they reached the clouds of the sky, and then ask My forgiveness, I would forgive you, and I would not mind." Narrated by al-Darimi. A points of benefit: How many sins must a person commit for their transgressions to reach the very clouds of the sky? And how many offenses must they commit for their wrongdoings to equal the volume of the earth? Yet despite all of that, al-Ghaffar (The Oft-Forgiving), Glorified be He, forgives us and does not mind. So seek forgiveness from Allah, for even if your sins are vast and great in number, He will forgive you.
