Verse and Tafsir
Allah the Exalted says:
"Allah is the Eternal Refuge,"
Meaning: He is the One sought for all needs.
For all of creation is in absolute need of Him.
They ask Him for their needs,
And they turn to Him for their concerns,
Because He is perfect in His attributes.
The All-Knowing, who is perfect in His knowledge.
The Forbearing, who is perfect in His forbearance.
The Merciful, who is perfect in His mercy,
Whose mercy encompasses all things.
And such is the case for all His attributes.
Glorified is He.
