Chapter on what was mentioned about the crying of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
Abdullah bin Al-Shakhir, on the authority of his father, said:
I came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
And he is praying
And his stomach buzzed like the buzzing of a cauldron from crying
In this hadith
The great companion came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
And he is praying
He heard him crying during prayer
And he said
And his stomach buzzed like the buzzing of a cauldron from crying
That is, his chest has a sound like the boiling of a pot made of copper
If it's on fire
And this crying
Crying out of fear, longing, and love for God Almighty
On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, told me
Read on
So I said
O Messenger of God
I read to you and it is revealed to you
He said
I would love to hear it from others
So I recited Surah An-Nisa
Even Balut
We brought you as a witness against these people
He said
I saw the eyes of the Messenger of God neglecting
In this hadith
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, asked Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him
To read to him something from the Qur’an
In this there is an apparent merit for Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him
He said understandingly
I read to you, O Messenger of God, and to you the Qur’an was revealed
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
I would love to hear it from others
It is possible that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, loved hearing the Qur’an more than anyone else
So that the presentation of the Qur’an is Sunnah
It is possible that it is in order for him to ponder and understand it
This is because the listener is stronger in thinking and more active in thinking than the reader
Then Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him, recited Surah An-Nisa
Until God Almighty said
So what if We bring from every nation a martyr?
We brought you as a witness against these people
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to him
It is enough for you, as in the second novel
Abdullah bin Masoud, may God be pleased with him, looked at the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Then his eyes were neglected
That is, overflowing and flowing with tears
And the meaning of the verse
God Almighty has made every nation a witness
He is the Prophet who was sent among them
This is the perfection of his justice

On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, may God be pleased with him, what he said
If the sun was eclipsed one day during the reign of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood up and prayed
Until he hardly kneeled
Then he knelt down and barely raised his head
Then he raised his head and could hardly prostrate
Then he prostrated and could hardly raise his head
Then he raised his head and could hardly prostrate
Then he prostrated and could hardly raise his head
So he started blowing his throat and crying and saying:
My Lord, did you not promise me that you would not torture them while I was among them?
My Lord, did you not torture me? Did you not torture them while they were asking for forgiveness?
When he prayed two rak'ahs, the sun rose, so he stood up and thanked God Almighty and praised Him. Then he said, "The sun and the moon are two of God's signs. They will not be eclipsed for the death or life of anyone. If they are eclipsed, then fear the remembrance of God Almighty."
In this hadith, the sun was eclipsed one day during the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, meaning all or part of its light was gone.
The sun was eclipsed once during his lifetime, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the tenth year of the Hijra
That day was the day on which Ibrahim, the son of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, died, as stated in the two Sahih books
It was the belief of the people of pre-Islamic times that the sun and moon would be eclipsed either for a great death or for a great life
When the sun was eclipsed, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, trembled, dragging a robe in fear, as if the Hour had arrived, and he commanded the one who called for prayer to be united.
So the people gathered in the mosque, and he led the people with the eclipse prayer and his saying. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood up and prayed until he had hardly bowed, that is, for the length of his standing.
Then he bowed and barely raised his head, i.e. the length of the bowing
Then he raised his head and hardly prostrated at any length of standing straight after bowing
Then he prostrated, but he could hardly raise his head due to the length of the prostration
Then he raised his head and hardly prostrated, that is, he sat for a long time between the two prostrations
Then he prostrated and barely raised his head, that is, he prolonged his second prostration
So he began to blow and cry, meaning supplication to God and fear of punishment
And he says, “My Lord, did you not promise me that you would not torture them while I was among them?”
My Lord, did you not torture me? Did you not torture them while they were asking for forgiveness?
We ask for your forgiveness
May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the Almighty’s saying is interpreted
And God would not punish them while you were among them
And God would not punish them while they were seeking forgiveness
Then he stood up and thanked God Almighty and praised Him, then he said
The sun and the moon are two signs of God
They are not broken by anyone's death or life
That is, contrary to what the polytheists believed in pre-Islamic times
And he said, “If it is eclipsed, then rush to the remembrance of God Almighty.”
That is, pray a lot, glorify, glorify, and seek forgiveness
واللجوء إلى الله عز وجل
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, took a daughter of his to judge
He embraced her and placed her in his hands
فماتت وهي بين يديه
وصاحت أم أيمن فقال
It means the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Do you cry before the Messenger of God?
She said, “Don’t I see you crying?”
He said I am not crying, but it is mercy
The believer is well in every situation
His soul is being removed from his sides
He praises God Almighty
In this hadith
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, took his daughter to judge
That is, she is fighting death
This is for a daughter who is the daughter of his daughter Zainab, may God be pleased with her
From her husband, Abu Al-Aas bin Al-Rabi’
Her death was in the ninth year of the Hijra
وقول فاحتضنها
That is, he, may God bless him and grant him peace, embraced it to his chest
He was kind to him and he was kind to her
He said and placed it in his hands
That is, in his lap or in front of him
فماتت وهي بين يديه
Umm Ayman shouted
That is, she raised her voice in tears
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade it by saying:
Do you cry before the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace?
He did not tell her to cry with me
Because that is more effective in rebuking
Umm Ayman said
We thought that absolutely crying was permissible
Don't I see you crying?
That is, do I not see you and watch you cry?
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
I'm not crying
That is, I am not crying out of fear and impatience
I do not do what God has forbidden in supplication
With woe, terror, screaming, and the like
It is mercy
That is, crying and these tears
It is a mercy that God has placed in the hearts of His servants
Just crying and tears in the eyes
It is neither forbidden nor objectionable
Rather, it is mercy and virtue
But it is forbidden
Lamentation and lamentation
And the crying associated with them
Or one of them
And he said
The believer is well in every situation
That is, the believer's affairs are all good in every situation
He is fine in his affairs
And he is good in his bad times
In the first, he wins the reward of those who are thankful
In the second, he wins the reward of the patient
And he said
His soul is being removed from his sides
وهو يحمد الله عز وجل
That is, you will find many righteous people
His soul is removed and he thanks God Almighty
فلم ينسى حمد الله
حتى في هذه اللحظة الشديدة
And you find it too
He suffers from painful diseases
His tongue is moist with remembrance and praise of God
Satisfaction with what God has decreed
وتسليما لأمر الله تعالى
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her
That the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
قبل عثمان بن مضعون
He is dead and crying
أو قال عيناه تهراقان
In this hadith
That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Before Othman bin Madoun
And he's dead
And he, may God bless him and grant him peace, was crying.
Or he said
His eyes are watering
That is, they shed and their tears flow
And in the hadith
Evidence that kissing a Muslim after death and crying over him is permissible
Unless this is accompanied by alarm, wailing, or the like
Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, kissed the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
And Othman bin Madoun, may God be pleased with him
هو أحد السابقين الأولين
أسلم بعد ثلاثة عشر رجلا
He immigrated to Abyssinia the first migration
وكان صواما قواما
قانتا لله عز وجل
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, he said:
A son of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, testified
ورسول الله جالسٌ على القبر
فرأيت عينيه تدمعان
And he said
أفيكم رجلٌ لم يقارف الليلة
Abu Talha said

Get down
So he descended into her grave
In this hadith
Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, says
A son of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, testified
That is, we witnessed her funeral, prayers over her, and her burial
And this is for a daughter
She is Umm Kulthum
Wife of Othman bin Affan, may God be pleased with them both
And he said
ورسول الله جالسٌ على القبر
That is, he, may God bless him and grant him peace, was sitting next to the grave
And he said
فرأيت عينيه تدمعان
أي تذرفان وتسيل دموعهما
With complete satisfaction with God’s will and destiny
And he said
And he said
أفيكم رجلٌ لم يقارف الليلة
That is, he did not have intercourse with his family tonight
ولعل الحكمة في ذلك
Going down into the grave to deal with the issue of women
It is not suitable for a man who is close to mixing with women
So that his soul may be reassured and calm
كالناسية للشهوة
What is prescribed is for a man who did not have intercourse with his family that night to be placed in the grave
Even if he was not a mahram for that dead woman
لذا نزل في قبرها أبو طلحة
ومعلوم أنه ليس من محارمها
فدل على الجواز
Benefit
Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said
As for his crying, may God bless him and grant him peace
It was like his laughter
It was not a gasp or a raised voice
Nor was his laughter a guffaw
But his eyes were filled with tears until they were neglected
ويُسمع لصدره أزيز
Sometimes his crying was out of mercy for the dead
Sometimes out of fear for his nation and pity for it
Sometimes out of fear of God
وتارة عند سماع القرآن
It is a cry of longing, love and reverence
Accompanied by fear and apprehension
