Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity
On the authority of Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari, may God be pleased with him
On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said
Every Muslim must give charity
They said, O Prophet of God
Whoever does not find it
He said
He works with his hand
He benefits himself and gives charity
They said
If not found
He said
Helps the desperate need
They said
If not found
He said
Let him act with kindness
And to refrain from evil
It is charity for him
