A verse and its Tafsir.
Allah the Exalted says:
"Provide for them out of it and clothe them, and speak to them words of kindness."
This noble verse
encompasses kindness toward the family,
ranging from providing for their clothing and sustenance,
to speaking kindly and refining one's character.
For alongside financial support,
one must also refine one's character.
