The Garden of Guidance.
Allah, Almighty and Glorious, said:
“Yet whoso doeth evil or wrongeth his own soul, then seeketh pardon of Allah, will find Allah Forgiving, Merciful.” (4:110)
And on the authority of Anas Ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:
"By Him in Whose hand is my soul"—or "By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad"—
"if you were to commit sins until your transgressions filled all that is between the heavens and the earth,
and then you sought Allah's forgiveness, He would surely forgive you.
By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad"—or "By Him in Whose hand is my soul"—
"if you did not commit sins, Allah would bring forth a people who commit sins,
and then seek Allah's forgiveness, and He would forgive them."

Benefit:
It was said to Al-Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him):
"Should not one of us feel ashamed before his Lord—seeking forgiveness for his sins,
only to repeat them, then seeking forgiveness again, and then repeating them?"
He replied:
"Satan wishes he could conquer you through this mindset,
so never grow weary of seeking forgiveness."
It is also narrated from him that he said:
"I view this as nothing other than the true character of the believers."
Meaning that whenever a believer commits a sin, he repents.
