Nullifiers of faith in the Last Day
The nullifiers of faith in the Last Day can be summarized
in denying any of its matters known necessarily from the religion,
established by the Book and the Sunnah,
or doubting them,
or mocking and ridiculing them.
Such as the matters of resurrection after death,
and reckoning in the Hereafter,
and Paradise and Hell,
and so forth.
And also included among the nullifiers is
the reinterpretation of any of the matters of faith in the Last Day
with interpretations that deviate from the truth,
based on absurd illusions
and arbitrary philosophies.
Such as the claim that the Hereafter is merely the transmigration of souls after each death,
and their transfer into other human beings,
or even into the bodies of animals,
like the saying of the Nusayris from the Batiniyyah sects.
And like the interpretations of the philosophers who follow Aristotle regarding the Return (Ma'ad).
