The great people who worked in theology regretted, in their last days, the life they had wasted in it
They wished for death according to the belief of common Muslims
This is what Imam al-Haramayn al-Juwayni said upon his death:
I left the people of Islam and their sciences and waded into the deep sea
Now, if my Lord does not correct me, then woe to me
Then he says, “Here I am, dying according to the doctrine of the old women of Nishapur.”
