Summary of Sunni concepts
Lack of God is a feeling that fills the heart of the believing servant and distinguishes him from the unbeliever
Rather, it distinguishes the remembering and patient believers from the heedless and frightened Muslims
The believer understands the meaning of the words of God Almighty
O people, you are poor before God
And God is the Rich, the Praiseworthy
He will not be tyrannical or dispense with his Lord for the blink of an eye
He does not resort in all his situations except to God alone
The one who lacks his Lord in all his circumstances does not rely on himself in any way
He says morning and evening
O Ever-Living, O Ever-Living, by Your mercy I seek help
Fix all my affairs for me
And do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye
Narrated by Al-Nasa’i and Al-Bazzar and authenticated by Al-Albani
As for those who are heedless and strive for God’s blessings upon them
They are arrogant and rebel against their Lord, who is in a state of grace and prosperity
They may not feel their lack of God
Unless the affliction becomes severe and surrounds them from all sides
God Almighty said
And when harm befalls you at sea, whomever you call upon will go astray except Him
When he rescued you to land, you turned away
The person was ungrateful
And the Almighty said
If harm befalls a person, he calls us on his side, sitting, or standing
When We removed his harm from him, he passed away as if he had not called us to the harm that befell him
Likewise, what they used to do has been made pleasing to the extravagant
