God Almighty said
And We have enjoined upon man to be good to his parents
And if they strive for you to associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them
To Me is your return, and I will inform you of what you used to do
On the authority of Asmaa bint Abi Bakr, may God be pleased with them, she said
My mother came to me and she was a polytheist in the era of Quraysh
When they made a covenant with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
She spent her time with her father
So she asked the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said:
O Messenger of God
My mother came to me willingly
Shall I remove it?
He said yes, pray it

Benefit
Religion calls for maintaining ties with one's family, even if they are polytheists
Ethics is a great edifice
Our truthful and trustworthy Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, has come to complete it
This is the most effective response to those who accuse this true religion of violence and terrorism
Will we commit to and adhere to our family ties?
So that our response is practical and our morals speak before our tongues
