Everyone who opposes Islam and its divine methodology,
does so only out of caprice, far removed from true knowledge and sound reasoning.
They fall into one of four categories.
First, those who oppose it with what they presume to be rational proofs, which they prioritize over the revealed texts.
Second, those who oppose textual evidence with analogy and personal opinion.
These people claim to possess deep fiqh in the religion.
Third, those who oppose the evidence with mere subjective taste and emotional experience.
They call themselves the people of ultimate truth.
In contrast to the scholars who adhere to the legal evidence,
whom they label as the people of the outward law.
Or they say, "You are the people of the apparent, while we are the people of the inner reality."
Fourth, those who oppose the divine law with political expediency.
Such as tyrannical rulers,
who violate the law of Allah in order to establish their own dominion,
and who have no concern for the consequences of doing so.
