Summary of Sunni concepts
Between justice and charity
Justice is the fulfillment of full rights
Whether it is for God, for the soul, or for the rest of creation
This is what is required of those who are responsible
As for charity, it is a virtue and a greater value than justice
Ihsan in worshiping God is to worship Him as if you see Him
If you don't see him, he sees you
As in the hadith of Gabriel
Charity toward creation benefits them in excess of what is owed
Justice is an obligation and charity is a virtue
That is why God brought them together in the matter, saying:
God commands justice and benevolence
Urging people to rise from the position of obligation to the position of virtue
Therefore, a person is called upon to forgive some of his rights
Especially with relatives
In order to cherish the love of hearts and heal the hearts of hearts
Charity is recommended in general
Especially with relatives
And among them are the parents
Then children, brothers and sisters
The request for charity is confirmed in three matters
Firstly
We pray to God Almighty to treat us with His grace and benevolence, not with His justice
If God treated creation according to His justice
All people will perish
Their worship of Him does not satisfy the true gratitude for His blessings, or even some of them
Secondly
Kindness to parents
God Almighty commanded this towards them, not just justice towards them
This was coupled with the command to unite him in worship
Which indicates the greatness of this matter
God Almighty said
Your Lord has decreed that you should not worship anyone but Him and that you be kind to your parents
Third
Kindness in intercourse between spouses
The treatment between them is based on good treatment, not just justice
If the spouses treated each other fairly and not with credit
They turned away from charity
To carry each one in himself over the other
Perhaps ten days between them became impossible
This is only due to the intense mixing and ambiguity between them
It is necessary to show leniency and tolerance in many simple and recurring matters
God Almighty said
They are clothes for you and you are clothes for them
This necessitates affection, tranquility, and mercy
And overlooking, neglecting, and forgiving each other
God Almighty said
Among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you may find tranquility in them
And He placed between you affection and mercy
