1 00:00:01,360 --> 00:00:04,360 Stop. 2 00:00:04,360 --> 00:00:12,140 Get to know the Companions, the scholars, and the prominent figures. 3 00:00:12,140 --> 00:00:16,140 A new challenge: Who am I? 4 00:00:16,140 --> 00:00:21,670 I was one of the poor among the Companions. 5 00:00:21,670 --> 00:00:24,670 I was short and plain in appearance. 6 00:00:24,670 --> 00:00:27,670 I was poor and of unknown lineage. 7 00:00:27,670 --> 00:00:29,670 Yet, I had a sense of humor. 8 00:00:29,670 --> 00:00:33,670 The Prophet, peace be upon him, loved me. 9 00:00:33,670 --> 00:00:35,670 Once, he said to me: 10 00:00:35,670 --> 00:00:37,670 "Will you not get married?" 11 00:00:37,670 --> 00:00:41,670 I replied, "And who would marry me, O Messenger of Allah?" 12 00:00:41,670 --> 00:00:44,670 He, peace be upon him, said: 13 00:00:44,670 --> 00:00:46,670 "I will marry you off." 14 00:00:46,670 --> 00:00:48,799 I said: 15 00:00:48,799 --> 00:00:51,799 "In that case, you will find me unsellable, O Messenger of Allah." 16 00:00:51,799 --> 00:00:53,829 He replied: 17 00:00:53,829 --> 00:00:57,829 "But in the sight of Allah, you are not unsellable." 18 00:00:57,829 --> 00:01:04,890 One day, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said to a man from the Ansar: 19 00:01:04,890 --> 00:01:06,890 "Marry your daughter to me." 20 00:01:06,890 --> 00:01:09,950 The Ansari man was overjoyed and said: 21 00:01:09,950 --> 00:01:14,049 "Yes, and with all honor, O Messenger of Allah." 22 00:01:14,049 --> 00:01:17,049 Then the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 23 00:01:17,049 --> 00:01:20,049 "I do not want her for myself." 24 00:01:20,049 --> 00:01:22,049 "I want her for this man." 25 00:01:22,049 --> 00:01:24,079 And he pointed to me. 26 00:01:24,079 --> 00:01:26,079 When the man saw me, 27 00:01:26,079 --> 00:01:28,079 he hesitated and said: 28 00:01:28,079 --> 00:01:31,140 "Let me consult her mother." 29 00:01:31,140 --> 00:01:33,140 When he consulted her, she said: 30 00:01:34,140 --> 00:01:36,140 "No, by Allah!" 31 00:01:36,140 --> 00:01:38,209 "We will never marry her to him." 32 00:01:38,209 --> 00:01:40,209 The girl sensed what was happening. 33 00:01:40,209 --> 00:01:42,209 She asked her parents: 34 00:01:42,209 --> 00:01:44,209 "Who has proposed to you on my behalf?" 35 00:01:44,209 --> 00:01:46,209 Her mother informed her. 36 00:01:46,209 --> 00:01:48,209 She said: 37 00:01:48,209 --> 00:01:53,209 "Would you reject the command of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him?" 38 00:01:53,209 --> 00:01:55,209 "Give me to him." 39 00:01:55,209 --> 00:01:58,340 "For Allah will not let me go to waste." 40 00:01:58,340 --> 00:02:02,340 Her father went to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, 41 00:02:02,340 --> 00:02:04,340 and informed him. 42 00:02:04,340 --> 00:02:08,340 So the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, married her to me. 43 00:02:08,340 --> 00:02:10,340 And he said: 44 00:02:10,340 --> 00:02:14,340 "O Allah, pour goodness upon them in abundance." 45 00:02:14,340 --> 00:02:18,340 "And do not make their life a struggle." 46 00:02:18,340 --> 00:02:20,500 After that, there was not 47 00:02:20,500 --> 00:02:24,500 a woman who possessed more wealth and charity than she did. 48 00:02:24,500 --> 00:02:28,199 A few days after my marriage, 49 00:02:28,199 --> 00:02:31,199 the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, went out 50 00:02:31,199 --> 00:02:33,199 on a military expedition. 51 00:02:33,199 --> 00:02:35,199 I went out with him. 52 00:02:35,199 --> 00:02:37,199 When Allah granted him victory, 53 00:02:37,199 --> 00:02:39,199 he said to his Companions: 54 00:02:39,199 --> 00:02:41,199 "Do you miss anyone?" 55 00:02:41,199 --> 00:02:43,229 They said: 56 00:02:43,229 --> 00:02:45,229 "We miss so-and-so." 57 00:02:45,229 --> 00:02:47,229 "And we miss so-and-so." 58 00:02:47,229 --> 00:02:49,229 Then he said: 59 00:02:49,229 --> 00:02:51,229 "Look again, do you miss anyone?" 60 00:02:51,229 --> 00:02:53,229 They said, "No." 61 00:02:53,229 --> 00:02:56,259 So the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 62 00:02:56,259 --> 00:02:59,259 "But I miss so-and-so." 63 00:02:59,259 --> 00:03:01,259 Meaning me. 64 00:03:01,259 --> 00:03:03,259 "Search for him among the fallen." 65 00:03:03,259 --> 00:03:05,259 They searched for me, 66 00:03:05,259 --> 00:03:07,259 and they found me. 67 00:03:07,259 --> 00:03:09,259 They said, "O Messenger of Allah," 68 00:03:09,259 --> 00:03:11,259 "here he is, beside seven" 69 00:03:11,259 --> 00:03:13,259 "of the polytheists." 70 00:03:13,259 --> 00:03:17,300 The Prophet, peace be upon him, came to me 71 00:03:17,300 --> 00:03:19,300 and said, "He killed seven," 72 00:03:19,300 --> 00:03:21,300 "then they killed him." 73 00:03:21,300 --> 00:03:23,360 "He is of me, and I am of him." 74 00:03:23,360 --> 00:03:25,360 "He is of me, and I am of him." 75 00:03:25,360 --> 00:03:27,360 "He is of me, and I am of him." 76 00:03:27,360 --> 00:03:29,360 "He is of me, and I am of him." 77 00:03:29,360 --> 00:03:31,360 "He is of me, and I am of him." 78 00:03:31,360 --> 00:03:35,460 Then the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, placed me 79 00:03:35,460 --> 00:03:37,460 upon his forearm. 80 00:03:37,460 --> 00:03:39,460 And he dug my grave. 81 00:03:39,460 --> 00:03:41,460 I had no bed 82 00:03:41,460 --> 00:03:45,460 other than the forearm of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. 83 00:03:45,460 --> 00:03:49,520 Then he, peace be upon him, placed me 84 00:03:49,520 --> 00:03:51,520 into my grave with his noble hands. 85 00:03:51,520 --> 00:03:53,780 So, who am I? 86
