00:00:01.360 --> 00:00:04.360
Stop.

00:00:04.360 --> 00:00:12.140
Get to know the Companions, the scholars, and the prominent figures.

00:00:12.140 --> 00:00:16.140
A new challenge: Who am I?

00:00:16.140 --> 00:00:21.670
I was one of the poor among the Companions.

00:00:21.670 --> 00:00:24.670
I was short and plain in appearance.

00:00:24.670 --> 00:00:27.670
I was poor and of unknown lineage.

00:00:27.670 --> 00:00:29.670
Yet, I had a sense of humor.

00:00:29.670 --> 00:00:33.670
The Prophet, peace be upon him, loved me.

00:00:33.670 --> 00:00:35.670
Once, he said to me:

00:00:35.670 --> 00:00:37.670
"Will you not get married?"

00:00:37.670 --> 00:00:41.670
I replied, "And who would marry me, O Messenger of Allah?"

00:00:41.670 --> 00:00:44.670
He, peace be upon him, said:

00:00:44.670 --> 00:00:46.670
"I will marry you off."

00:00:46.670 --> 00:00:48.799
I said:

00:00:48.799 --> 00:00:51.799
"In that case, you will find me unsellable, O Messenger of Allah."

00:00:51.799 --> 00:00:53.829
He replied:

00:00:53.829 --> 00:00:57.829
"But in the sight of Allah, you are not unsellable."

00:00:57.829 --> 00:01:04.890
One day, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said to a man from the Ansar:

00:01:04.890 --> 00:01:06.890
"Marry your daughter to me."

00:01:06.890 --> 00:01:09.950
The Ansari man was overjoyed and said:

00:01:09.950 --> 00:01:14.049
"Yes, and with all honor, O Messenger of Allah."

00:01:14.049 --> 00:01:17.049
Then the Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

00:01:17.049 --> 00:01:20.049
"I do not want her for myself."

00:01:20.049 --> 00:01:22.049
"I want her for this man."

00:01:22.049 --> 00:01:24.079
And he pointed to me.

00:01:24.079 --> 00:01:26.079
When the man saw me,

00:01:26.079 --> 00:01:28.079
he hesitated and said:

00:01:28.079 --> 00:01:31.140
"Let me consult her mother."

00:01:31.140 --> 00:01:33.140
When he consulted her, she said:

00:01:34.140 --> 00:01:36.140
"No, by Allah!"

00:01:36.140 --> 00:01:38.209
"We will never marry her to him."

00:01:38.209 --> 00:01:40.209
The girl sensed what was happening.

00:01:40.209 --> 00:01:42.209
She asked her parents:

00:01:42.209 --> 00:01:44.209
"Who has proposed to you on my behalf?"

00:01:44.209 --> 00:01:46.209
Her mother informed her.

00:01:46.209 --> 00:01:48.209
She said:

00:01:48.209 --> 00:01:53.209
"Would you reject the command of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him?"

00:01:53.209 --> 00:01:55.209
"Give me to him."

00:01:55.209 --> 00:01:58.340
"For Allah will not let me go to waste."

00:01:58.340 --> 00:02:02.340
Her father went to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him,

00:02:02.340 --> 00:02:04.340
and informed him.

00:02:04.340 --> 00:02:08.340
So the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, married her to me.

00:02:08.340 --> 00:02:10.340
And he said:

00:02:10.340 --> 00:02:14.340
"O Allah, pour goodness upon them in abundance."

00:02:14.340 --> 00:02:18.340
"And do not make their life a struggle."

00:02:18.340 --> 00:02:20.500
After that, there was not

00:02:20.500 --> 00:02:24.500
a woman who possessed more wealth and charity than she did.

00:02:24.500 --> 00:02:28.199
A few days after my marriage,

00:02:28.199 --> 00:02:31.199
the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, went out

00:02:31.199 --> 00:02:33.199
on a military expedition.

00:02:33.199 --> 00:02:35.199
I went out with him.

00:02:35.199 --> 00:02:37.199
When Allah granted him victory,

00:02:37.199 --> 00:02:39.199
he said to his Companions:

00:02:39.199 --> 00:02:41.199
"Do you miss anyone?"

00:02:41.199 --> 00:02:43.229
They said:

00:02:43.229 --> 00:02:45.229
"We miss so-and-so."

00:02:45.229 --> 00:02:47.229
"And we miss so-and-so."

00:02:47.229 --> 00:02:49.229
Then he said:

00:02:49.229 --> 00:02:51.229
"Look again, do you miss anyone?"

00:02:51.229 --> 00:02:53.229
They said, "No."

00:02:53.229 --> 00:02:56.259
So the Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

00:02:56.259 --> 00:02:59.259
"But I miss so-and-so."

00:02:59.259 --> 00:03:01.259
Meaning me.

00:03:01.259 --> 00:03:03.259
"Search for him among the fallen."

00:03:03.259 --> 00:03:05.259
They searched for me,

00:03:05.259 --> 00:03:07.259
and they found me.

00:03:07.259 --> 00:03:09.259
They said, "O Messenger of Allah,"

00:03:09.259 --> 00:03:11.259
"here he is, beside seven"

00:03:11.259 --> 00:03:13.259
"of the polytheists."

00:03:13.259 --> 00:03:17.300
The Prophet, peace be upon him, came to me

00:03:17.300 --> 00:03:19.300
and said, "He killed seven,"

00:03:19.300 --> 00:03:21.300
"then they killed him."

00:03:21.300 --> 00:03:23.360
"He is of me, and I am of him."

00:03:23.360 --> 00:03:25.360
"He is of me, and I am of him."

00:03:25.360 --> 00:03:27.360
"He is of me, and I am of him."

00:03:27.360 --> 00:03:29.360
"He is of me, and I am of him."

00:03:29.360 --> 00:03:31.360
"He is of me, and I am of him."

00:03:31.360 --> 00:03:35.460
Then the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, placed me

00:03:35.460 --> 00:03:37.460
upon his forearm.

00:03:37.460 --> 00:03:39.460
And he dug my grave.

00:03:39.460 --> 00:03:41.460
I had no bed

00:03:41.460 --> 00:03:45.460
other than the forearm of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.

00:03:45.460 --> 00:03:49.520
Then he, peace be upon him, placed me

00:03:49.520 --> 00:03:51.520
into my grave with his noble hands.

00:03:51.520 --> 00:03:53.780
So, who am I?
