As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised.” (15:47) 00:00:35.579 --> 00:00:38.579 “Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence.” (15:48) 00:00:38.579 --> 00:00:41.579 “Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence.” (15:48) 00:00:41.579 --> 00:00:44.649 And He Almighty says: 00:00:44.649 --> 00:00:47.649 “O My slaves! For you there is no fear this day, nor is it ye who grieve;” (43:68) 00:00:47.649 --> 00:00:50.649 nor will you grieve. 00:00:50.649 --> 00:00:53.649 “(Ye) who believed Our revelations and were self-surrendered,” (43:69) 00:00:53.649 --> 00:00:56.649 Enter Paradise, 00:00:56.649 --> 00:00:59.649 you and your spouses, delighted. 00:00:59.649 --> 00:01:04.650 “Therein are brought round for them trays of gold and goblets, and therein is all that souls desire and eyes find sweet. And ye are immortal therein.” (43:71) 00:01:07.650 --> 00:01:10.650 and whatever the eyes delight in, 00:01:10.650 --> 00:01:13.650 and you will abide therein eternally. 00:01:13.650 --> 00:01:16.650 “This is the Garden which ye are made to inherit because of what ye used to do.” (43:72) 00:01:16.650 --> 00:01:19.650 for what you used to do. 00:01:19.650 --> 00:01:22.650 You will have therein fruit 00:01:22.650 --> 00:01:25.650 in abundance, from which you will eat." 00:01:25.650 --> 00:01:29.099 And He Almighty says: 00:01:29.099 --> 00:01:32.099 “Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured.” (44:51) 00:01:32.099 --> 00:01:35.099 "Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place, in gardens and springs, 00:01:35.099 --> 00:01:38.099 wearing garments of fine silk 00:01:38.099 --> 00:01:41.099 and brocade, facing one another. 00:01:41.099 --> 00:01:44.099 Thus [it will be], and We will marry them 00:01:44.099 --> 00:01:47.099 to fair-skinned maidens with large, beautiful eyes. 00:01:47.099 --> 00:01:50.099 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in safety and peace. 00:01:50.099 --> 00:01:53.099 “They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell,” (44:56) 00:01:53.099 --> 00:01:56.099 except the first death, 00:01:56.099 --> 00:01:59.099 and He will protect them from the punishment of Hellfire, 00:01:59.099 --> 00:02:02.099 as a bounty from your Lord. 00:02:02.099 --> 00:02:05.129 That is the supreme achievement." 00:02:05.129 --> 00:02:08.129 And He Almighty says: 00:02:08.129 --> 00:02:11.129 "Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 00:02:11.129 --> 00:02:14.129 on adorned couches, observing. 00:02:14.129 --> 00:02:17.129 You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure. 00:02:17.129 --> 00:02:20.129 “They are given to drink of a pure wine, sealed,” (83:25) 00:02:20.129 --> 00:02:23.129 Its seal is musk. 00:02:23.129 --> 00:02:27.129 “Whose seal is musk - for this let (all) those strive who strive for bliss -” (83:26) 00:02:27.129 --> 00:02:30.129 And its mixture is of Tasnim— 00:02:30.129 --> 00:02:34.129 a spring from which those nearest [to Allah] drink." 00:02:34.129 --> 00:02:37.259 And the verses in this chapter 00:02:37.259 --> 00:02:41.409 are many and well-known. 00:02:41.409 --> 00:02:44.409 On the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: 00:02:44.409 --> 00:02:47.409 The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 00:02:47.409 --> 00:02:50.409 "The people of Paradise will eat therein 00:02:50.409 --> 00:02:53.409 and drink, 00:02:53.409 --> 00:02:56.409 but they will neither blow their noses nor urinate, 00:02:56.409 --> 00:02:59.409 rather, their food will turn into 00:02:59.409 --> 00:03:02.439 a belch with a sweat like the scent of musk. 00:03:02.439 --> 00:03:05.439 They will be inspired to glorify Allah and declare His greatness 00:03:05.439 --> 00:03:08.500 as easily as they are inspired to breathe." 00:03:08.500 --> 00:03:12.300 Narrated by Muslim. 00:03:12.300 --> 00:03:15.300 "They will not defecate" 00:03:15.300 --> 00:03:18.500 means that they will pleasant-smelling perspiration will exude from their bodies, 00:03:37.849 --> 00:03:41.330 resembling musk. 00:03:41.330 --> 00:03:44.330 "As easily as they are inspired to breathe" 00:03:44.330 --> 00:03:47.330 means they will engage in remembrance and glorification of Allah effortlessly, 00:03:47.330 --> 00:03:51.319 just like their breathing. 00:03:52.419 --> 00:03:55.419 The bliss of Paradise is everlasting and uninterrupted. 00:03:55.419 --> 00:03:58.830 The food and drink of the people of Paradise 00:03:58.830 --> 00:04:01.830 are free from impurities and defects that 00:04:01.830 --> 00:04:04.830 naturally accompany the food of the people of the earth, 00:04:04.830 --> 00:04:08.539 such as the excretion of waste and unpleasant odors. 00:04:08.539 --> 00:04:11.539 The people of Paradise find delight in the remembrance of Allah 00:04:11.539 --> 00:04:14.539 and His glorification, 00:04:14.539 --> 00:04:18.689 experiencing neither hardship nor burden in doing so. 00:04:18.689 --> 00:04:21.689 On the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: 00:04:21.689 --> 00:04:24.689 The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 00:04:24.689 --> 00:04:27.689 "Allah Almighty says: 00:04:27.689 --> 00:04:30.689 'I have prepared for My righteous servants 00:04:30.689 --> 00:04:33.689 what no eye has seen, 00:04:33.689 --> 00:04:36.689 nor ear has heard, 00:04:36.689 --> 00:04:39.750 nor has ever crossed the heart of any human.'" 00:04:39.750 --> 00:04:42.750 Recite if you wish: 00:04:42.750 --> 00:04:45.750 “No soul authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: 00:05:19.980 --> 00:05:22.980 The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 00:05:22.980 --> 00:05:26.050 "The first group to enter Paradise 00:05:26.050 --> 00:05:29.050 will be in the image of the moon on the night of the full moon. 00:05:29.050 --> 00:05:32.110 Then those who follow them 00:05:32.110 their censers will be aloeswood— 00:05:52.139 --> 00:05:54.139 the fragrant resinous wood. 00:05:54.139 --> 00:05:56.139 Their spouses will be the *hur 'in* (fair-skinned maidens with large, beautiful eyes). 00:05:56.139 --> 00:05:59.139 They will be united in the form of a single man, 00:05:59.139 --> 00:06:01.139 in the image of their father Adam, 00:06:01.139 --> 00:06:04.139 sixty cubits tall (*khuluq*) of a single man": 00:06:36.040 --> 00:06:39.040 Some narrated it with a *fathah* on the letter *kha* 00:06:39.040 --> 00:06:41.040 and a *sukun* on the *lam* (*khalq*, meaning physical stature), 00:06:41.040 --> 00:06:43.040 while others recited both letters with a *dammah* (*khuluq*, meaning character), 00:06:43.040 --> 00:06:45.040 and both vocalizations are correct. 00:06:45.040 --> 00:06:49.509 "The group (*zumrah*)" means a gathering or crowd. 00:06:49.509 --> 00:06:52.740 "A brilliant star in the sky" 00:06:52.740 --> 00:06:55.740 refers to a star that shines with intense brightness. 00:06:55.740 --> 00:06:57.930 "They will not spit" 00:06:57.930 --> 00:06:59.930 means they will not discharge saliva from their mouths. 00:06:59.930 --> 00:07:02.959 "Their sweat" means their perspiration. 00:07:02.959 --> 00:07:06.730 Among the benefits of this hadith: 00:07:06.730 --> 00:07:11.050 The hearts of the people of Paradise are purified of blameworthy traits, 00:07:11.050 of al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him), 00:07:40.420 --> 00:07:44.420 from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: 00:07:44.420 --> 00:07:48.420 Moses (peace be upon him) asked his Lord: 00:07:48.420 --> 00:07:52.420 "What is the lowest status among the people of Paradise?" 00:07:52.420 --> 00:07:53.579 He said: 00:07:53.579 --> 00:07:58.579 "He is a man who arrives after the people of Paradise have entered Paradise, 00:07:58.579 --> 00:08:00.579 and it will be said to him, 00:08:00.579 --> 00:08:02.579 'Enter Paradise.' 00:08:02.579 --> 00:08:03.579 So he will say, 00:08:03.579 --> 00:08:08.579 'O my Lord, how, when the people have settled in their dwellings 00:08:08.579 --> 00:08:10.579 and taken their portions?' 00:08:10.579 --> 00:08:12.579 It will be said to him, 00:08:12.579 --> 00:08:18.639 'Would it please you to have the equivalent of the kingdom of one of the kings of the world?' 00:08:18.639 --> 00:08:19.639 He will say, 00:08:19.639 --> 00:08:21.639 'I am pleased, my Lord.' 00:08:21.639 --> 00:08:23.699 So He will say, 00:08:23.699 --> 00:08:29.740 'You shall have that, and the like of it, and the like of it, and the like of it, and the like of it.' 00:08:29.740 --> 00:08:31.740 On the fifth time, he will say, 00:08:31.740 --> 00:08:33.740 'I am pleased, my Lord.' 00:08:33.740 --> 00:08:34.740 So He will say, 00:08:34.740 --> 00:08:38.740 'This is yours, along with ten times as much, 00:08:38.740 --> 00:08:41.740 and you shall have whatever your soul desires and whatever delights your eye.' 00:08:41.740 --> 00:08:43.799 He will say, 00:08:43.799 --> 00:08:45.960 'I am pleased, my Lord.' 00:08:45.960 --> 00:08:46.960 Moses said: 00:08:46.960 --> 00:08:50.059 'My Lord, with My own Hand 00:08:56.279 --> 00:08:58.279 and sealed it, 00:08:58.279 --> 00:09:02.279 such that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, 00:09:02.279 --> 00:09:05.279 and no heart of a human has ever
