Good intentions do not absolve the pseudo-scholar youth of responsibility.
Good intentions do not exempt the pseudo-scholar youth from accountability.
For errors in issuing legal rulings are not a matter of intentions.
Rather, they concern speaking about Allah without knowledge and leading people astray.
In this lies a severe warning and certain sin.
Allah the Exalted says:
“(O man), follow not that whereof thou hast no knowledge. Lo! the hearing and the sight and the heart - of each of these it will be asked.” (17:36)
“(O man), follow not that whereof thou hast no knowledge. Lo! the hearing and the sight and the heart - of each of these it will be asked.” (17:36)
And the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Allah does not take away knowledge by snatching it away from people,
but He takes it away by taking away the scholars,
until, when no scholar remains,
people will take ignorant leaders as their guides.
They will be asked questions and will issue rulings without knowledge,
so they will go astray and lead others astray."
Narrated by al-Bukhari.
And he, peace be upon him, also said:
"Among the signs of the Hour
is that knowledge will be sought from the young (the unqualified)."
Narrated by Ibn al-Mubarak in al-Zuhd.
