Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Previously, one hundred thousand dirhams
A man said
How is that, O Messenger of God?
He said
A man with a lot of money
He took one hundred thousand from his offer
So give it in charity
And a man who only had two dirhams
So he took one of them and gave it in charity
