Enjoining good and forbidding evil
The concept of this practice is to command people to do what is good, whether it is obligatory, recommended, or part of noble character,
and to forbid them from what is unlawful and from base character,
and to encourage them to do good and warn them against doing evil.
Islam has paid great attention to this practice and made it the safety valve for the Muslim community.
It is obligatory upon everyone who is able to effect change.
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand;
if he cannot, then with his tongue;
if he cannot, then with his heart,
and that is the weakest of faith."
