How does one defend one’s desires and the fruits of this advocacy?
The strongest thing a person can do is push his passion away from himself
It is fear of God Almighty and fear of His punishment
And recall the fruit of this piety and its reward
This is the solid barrier against the attacks of violent passion
He should know that God did not charge him not to quarrel with his desires within himself
This is beyond his capacity
But it forced him to forbid himself from this desire and push it away
He wrote to him with this defense and this hard struggle
Paradise is a place and a shelter
God Almighty said
As for he who fears standing before his Lord and forbids the soul from desires
Heaven is the shelter
He must also remember the consequences and consequences of the tyranny of desire
As for him who is transgressing and prefers the life of this world
Hell is the shelter
It also falls under the above
To remember the honor of truth and the virtue of its people
The lowliness of falsehood and the depravity of its people
And what they deserve of God's hatred and torment
It helps to abandon passion
In which he leans towards the opinion of his predecessors and sheikhs while contradicting the truth
To bring to mind what he means
He is the same as himself
It does not harm him in the eyes of God if he disagrees with his sheikhs
As long as he has the right to disagree with them
Rather, what harms him is following them on what he knows is contrary to the truth
His sheikhs may be excused and rewarded for what they did
Because there is no evidence of their truth in the matter
Or an interpretation that is acceptable to them
Without proof being established against them regarding what they disagreed with
It also helps in going against one’s desires
Adopting caution in the matter
Even if that contradicts his desires and what he was raised on
If there were people of knowledge who would deny some of what his soul was accustomed to and what his desires were for
With their honor and high status
He took his debt as a precaution
He left what he was accustomed to in order to preserve his religion and ensure safety
