Knowing those who turn away from the truth for the sake of worldly life does not negate their blindness.
Indeed, everyone who does not know the truth and does not respond to it is blind, by the explicit text of Allah the Almighty.
Even if they were exceptionally intelligent, or had reached the pinnacle of worldly knowledge and inventions.
And this type of person is not accepted by the minds of materialists who claim rationality.
They say, "How can a skilled doctor, a precise engineer, or a brilliant inventor be blind?"
This is the extent of their knowledge, and it is not hidden how their understanding directly contradicts the report of Allah the Almighty and His testimony.
