The essence of the religion is gathered in being content with three things.

Being content with Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, as Lord.

As for being content with Allah as Lord,

it encompasses the oneness of worship (tawhid al-uluhiyyah),

and all that it entails of loving Allah, worshipping Him, and supplicating to Him,

and what that entails of being content with His governance, His decree, and His predestination,

means absolute submission to His rulings and legislations.
