Among the tools of falsehood in the struggle
Among the tools of falsehood in the struggle is the embellishment of speech,
Meaning the methods of deception and seduction.
Just as they deceive the humanity around them,
They also deceive their own selves and lead them astray.
They cooperate among themselves to lead others astray,
And they assist one another in their own misguidance,
Just as Allah the Almighty said:
“Thus have We appointed unto every prophet an adversary - devils of humankind and jinn who inspire in one another plausible discourse through guile. If thy Lord willed, they would not do so; so leave them alone with their devising;” (6:112)
And the embellishment of speech
Leads to the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter inclining toward it.
Allah the Almighty said:
“That the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter may incline thereto, and that they may take pleasure therein, and that they may earn what they are earning.” (6:113)
“That the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter may incline thereto, and that they may take pleasure therein, and that they may earn what they are earning.” (6:113)
Meaning their hearts incline toward it and desire it,
Which leads to being pleased with what they have listened to,
And in order for them to be pleased with it, this pleasure is followed by
Acting upon what they have listened to and accepted.
“That the hearts of those who believe not in the Hereafter may incline thereto, and that they may take pleasure therein, and that they may earn what they are earning.” (6:113)
Here, it is worth noting the danger of listening
To the doubts and embellishments of falsehood,
Because that may be followed by being pleased with it,
And working to spread it.
