Definition of predecessor
The Salaf are the leaders of this nation, including the Companions, the Successors, and the Imams of guidance
In the three favorite centuries
This term is used to refer to those who follow their guidance and follow their path
Even if he came many centuries after them
He is called Salafist in reference to them
This name has been used in the three preferred centuries
But it was not famous and widespread
Contrary to those who denied this
He claimed that he did not exist until after them
The word “ancestor” has two considerations
Considering time and considering belief
As for the predecessors, considering time
They are just the three favorite centuries
To whom the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, testified of goodness
As in the hadith of Imran bin Hussein, may God be pleased with him
He said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
The best of my nation is my generation
Then those who follow them
Then those who follow them
The predecessors are the people of the three centuries
And after them, successor
As for the predecessors, the second consideration
Everyone who follows their path is included in them
In belief and work until the Hour
And their names too
People of influence and people of hadith
And other great names
Which indicates the integrity of this great approach
Characteristics and advantages of predecessors over others
Our righteous predecessors, may God Almighty have mercy on them
They have virtues by which they are distinguished
And the advantages that distinguish them
It is one of their greatest advantages and virtues
Which set them apart from others
Firstly
They are one of the favorite centuries
Which the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said about them
The best of my nation is my generation
Then those who follow them
Then those who follow them
Charity is present in their actions and morals
Their sincerity and belief
Neither could those who came after them
To reach their amount
Secondly, their closeness to the Prophet’s era
And divine revelation
That the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
The people and the nation recommended these favorite centuries
Al-Tirmidhi narrated in his Sunan
And Al-Hakim in his Mustadrak
On the authority of Omar, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
I recommend you to my friends
Then those who follow them
Then those who follow them
I recommend you to my friends
Then those who follow them
Then those who follow them
That is, the followers of the followers
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
He only recommended these favored centuries to us
Let's stick to their approach
We follow in their footsteps
We imitate their influences
Fourth
They inherited knowledge, law and religion
Closely, the Companions, may God be pleased with them
They took it from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Directly without any intermediary
The followers took it from the honorable companions
Juicy, juicy fruit
The followers took it from the followers
Fresh and fresh
They took them by the misguidance of the innovators
The nonsense of Sufis
Rather, their hearts were pure
Their goals are lofty
And their enthusiasm is high
These are the characteristics of this unique generation
These are the advantages of these blessed centuries
It made their generation and their society
The greatest, best and purest society on earth
They work according to the law of their Lord
They are friendly and loving among themselves
They are safe from heresies and whims
A life of peace
Between words and action
