The established Sunnahs of the Prophet:
Building Mosques.
Narrated 'Uthman ibn 'Affan (may Allah be pleased with him),
who said when the people criticized him for rebuilding the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):
"You have spoken too much.
Indeed, I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:
'Whoever builds a mosque—
Bukayr said:
I think he added:
—seeking thereby the Face of Allah,
Allah will build for him the like of it in Paradise.'"
Agreed upon.
