00:00:00,140 --> 00:00:03,660
Ramadan Hadiths

2
00:00:05,940 --> 00:00:10,500
On the authority of Jabir ibn 'Abdillah (may Allah be pleased with him and his father), who said:

3
00:00:10,500 --> 00:00:15,539
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was on a journey,

4
00:00:15,539 --> 00:00:19,620
and he saw a man around whom a crowd had gathered,

5
00:00:19,620 --> 00:00:21,859
with shade being provided over him.

6
00:00:21,859 --> 00:00:24,719
So he asked, "What is the matter with him?"

7
00:00:24,719 --> 00:00:28,399
They replied, "He is a fasting man."

8
00:00:28,500 --> 00:00:32,659
Whereupon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

9
00:00:32,659 --> 00:00:36,820
"It is not an act of righteousness to fast while traveling."
