So I met the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Ajyad
So I converted to Islam
I missed my father
When he learned of my conversion to Islam, he sent for me
So I repent to Him
He insulted me and hit me with a stick in his hand
Until he broke it on my head
And he said
You followed Muhammad and you see that he is different from his people
And the disgrace of their gods and the disgrace of their fathers who came before him
Go wherever you want
God will protect you from sustenance
So I said
If you stop me
God gives me what I can live by
So I went to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
So I was obligated to him and lived with him
Then she migrated to Abyssinia
There, Umm Habiba appointed me
Ramla bint Abi Sufyan, may God be pleased with her
And you made me her guardian
When the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, engaged to her
So I married her to him
Then I came to Medina in the seventh year of the Hijra
With Jaafar bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him
So I witnessed with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, the Umrah of Judiciary
And the conquest of Mecca
Hanina, Taifa and Tabuk
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent me to work on the alms of Yemen
