A hadith and commentary.
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Read the Qur'an,
for it will come on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for its companions."
Narrated by Muslim.
Commentary:
When a person is in need of some worldly matter,
they rejoice immensely when they find someone to intercede on their behalf.
So let us read the Qur'an,
that it may come to us as an intercessor on the Day of Resurrection,
on that difficult day,
which turns children gray-haired.
