In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Suspicions that many people fall into
Especially when searching for the legitimate ruling
About the legality or prohibition of a matter
Suspicion falls
But what is the scale by which a person can weigh new matters?
Hudhayfah Ibn Al-Yaman, may God be pleased with him, was asked
How does a man among us know that he has been afflicted with temptation?
He said, may God be pleased with him
If what he saw was forbidden yesterday
He sees it as lawful today, and he has been tempted
This is a clear balance
Hudhayfah draws his features in clear, concise words
The clear meaning of the words of Hudhayfah Ibn Al-Yaman
He assures us that he means what has been proven forbidden by law
The prohibition of which does not fall within the circle of disagreement between Muslim scholars and jurists
This is what is meant by his saying, may God bless him and grant him peace
What is permissible is clear and what is forbidden is clear
If a Muslim reaches the point of doubting the sanctity of something, its sanctity becomes apparent
Or in a solution whose solution appears
There is no doubt that he has been tempted by evil temptation, God forbid
An example of this is when a person is certain that bribery is prohibited
Even though their names have changed
And he must know with certainty that it is sacred
Then he softens and weakens in front of her
When she waves her sweetness at him
Mixed with the bitterness of sin and bad consequences
Here the Muslim must use this wonderful and accurate scale
Which was referred to by Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman, may God be pleased with him
Bribery can be compared to other forbidden matters
Which has to do with the desires of the human soul
and her worldly interests
Such as trading in some forbidden things
Or justifying the Lord's clear dealings
Response to it and the soul
This is the balance of Hudhayfah
I wish we could weigh our goods with it
Which oscillates between halal and haram
