Now hath Our messenger come unto you to make things plain unto you after an interval (of cessation) of the messengers, lest ye should say: There came not unto us a messenger of cheer nor any warner. Now hath a messenger of cheer and a warner come unto you. Allah is Able to do all things.” (5:19) 00:02:54.780 --> 00:02:56.780 lest you should say, 00:02:56.780 --> 00:02:58.780 'There came not to us 00:02:58.780 --> 00:03:00.780 any bearer of glad tidings 00:03:00.780 --> 00:03:02.780 lest you should say, 00:03:02.780 --> 00:03:04.780 'There came not to us 00:03:04.780 --> 00:03:06.780 any bearer of glad tidings 00:03:06.780 --> 00:03:08.780 or a warner.' 00:03:08.780 --> 00:03:10.909 Now there has come to you 00:03:10.909 --> 00:03:12.909 a bearer of glad tidings 00:03:12.909 --> 00:03:14.909 and a warner, 00:03:16.909 --> 00:03:18.909 and Allah is over all 00:03:18.909 --> 00:03:20.909 things 00:03:20.909 --> 00:03:22.909 competent.﴿ 00:03:22.909 --> 00:03:25.740 Jesus, 00:03:25.740 --> 00:03:27.740 peace be upon him, was raised up 00:03:27.740 --> 00:03:29.740 more than a thousand 00:03:29.740 --> 00:03:31.740 years ago from now, 00:03:31.740 --> 00:03:33.740 and he will descend at the end of time 00:03:33.740 --> 00:03:35.740 to the earth 00:03:35.740 --> 00:03:37.740 when his appointed time draws near, so that he may be buried in it. 00:03:37.740 --> 00:03:39.740 For Allah has decreed 00:03:39.740 --> 00:03:41.740 that from it He created them, 00:03:41.740 --> 00:03:43.740 into it He returns them, 00:03:43.740 --> 00:03:45.740 and from it He will bring them forth 00:03:45.740 --> 00:03:47.870 once again. 00:03:47.870 --> 00:03:49.870 The descent of Jesus, 00:03:49.870 --> 00:03:51.870 peace be upon him, will be among the major 00:03:51.870 --> 00:03:53.870 signs [of the Hour], 00:03:53.870 --> 00:03:55.870 and a mercy for the inhabitants of the earth, 00:03:55.870 --> 00:03:57.870 just as his birth 00:03:57.870 --> 00:03:59.939 and mission were a mercy to them. 00:03:59.939 --> 00:04:01.939 The Messiah, Jesus, 00:04:01.939 --> 00:04:03.939 son of Mary, peace be upon him, will descend 00:04:03.939 --> 00:04:05.939 to refute the claim of the Jews 00:04:05.939 --> 00:04:07.939 that they killed him, 00:04:07.939 --> 00:04:09.939 and to refute the claim of the Christians 00:04:09.939 --> 00:04:11.939 that he is a god or the son of God, 00:04:11.939 --> 00:04:13.939 thus nullifying 00:04:13.939 --> 00:04:15.939 their claims, 00:04:15.939 --> 00:04:17.939 and fighting them if they do not submit 00:04:17.939 --> 00:04:19.939 and accept the religion of Islam, 00:04:19.939 --> 00:04:21.939 following the law of Muhammad, 00:04:21.939 --> 00:04:23.939 peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. 00:04:23.939 --> 00:04:27.569 It is mentioned across the collective 00:04:27.569 --> 00:04:29.569 narrations and hadiths 00:04:29.569 --> 00:04:31.569 that the Prophet, peace be upon him, 00:04:31.569 --> 00:04:33.569 informed us 00:04:33.569 --> 00:04:35.569 that the Hour will not be established 00:04:35.569 --> 00:04:37.569 until the Romans land 00:04:37.569 --> 00:04:39.569 at al-A'maq or Dabiq, 00:04:39.569 --> 00:04:41.569 which are two areas 00:04:41.569 --> 00:04:43.569 near Aleppo in the land of 00:04:43.569 --> 00:04:45.569 the Levant (al-Sham). 00:04:45.569 --> 00:04:47.569 Then an army from the city will march out to meet them— 00:04:47.569 --> 00:04:49.569 that is, from the city of Aleppo 00:04:49.569 --> 00:04:51.569 or Damascus— 00:04:51.569 --> 00:04:53.569 consisting of the best people of the earth at that time. 00:04:53.569 --> 00:04:55.569 When they form their ranks, 00:04:55.569 --> 00:04:57.569 the Romans will say, 00:04:57.569 --> 00:04:59.569 "Step aside between us and 00:04:59.569 --> 00:05:01.569 those who took captives from us, 00:05:01.569 --> 00:05:03.569 so that we may fight them." 00:05:03.569 --> 00:05:05.569 By this, they intend to divide 00:05:05.569 --> 00:05:07.569 the ranks of the Muslims and break 00:05:07.569 --> 00:05:09.569 their unity. 00:05:09.569 --> 00:05:11.569 The Muslims will reply, 00:05:11.569 --> 00:05:13.569 "No, by Allah, we will never step aside 00:05:13.569 --> 00:05:15.569 between you and our brethren!" 00:05:15.569 --> 00:05:17.569 So they will fight them. 00:05:17.569 --> 00:05:19.569 One third 00:05:19.569 --> 00:05:21.569 of the Muslim army will flee, 00:05:21.569 --> 00:05:23.569 whose repentance Allah will never accept; 00:05:23.569 --> 00:05:25.569 never. 00:05:25.569 --> 00:05:27.569 Another third will be killed, 00:05:27.569 --> 00:05:29.569 and they are the best of martyrs in the sight of Allah; 00:05:29.569 --> 00:05:31.569 and Allah will grant victory to 00:05:31.569 --> 00:05:33.569 the remaining third, 00:05:33.569 --> 00:05:35.569 who will never be put to trial. 00:05:35.569 --> 00:05:37.569 They will conquer Constantinople, 00:05:37.569 --> 00:05:39.569 which is now 00:05:39.569 --> 00:05:41.569 Istanbul. 00:05:41.569 --> 00:05:43.569 While they are distributing the spoils, 00:05:43.569 --> 00:05:45.569 having hung their swords 00:05:45.569 --> 00:05:47.569 on olive trees, 00:05:47.569 --> 00:05:49.569 Satan will cry out among them, 00:05:49.569 --> 00:05:51.569 "The False Messiah (al-Dajjal) 00:05:51.569 --> 00:05:53.569 has taken your place 00:05:53.569 --> 00:05:55.600 among your families!" 00:05:55.600 --> 00:05:57.600 So they will depart Constantinople, 00:05:57.600 --> 00:05:59.600 heading back to their families, 00:05:59.600 --> 00:06:01.600 only to discover that this 00:06:01.600 --> 00:06:03.600 claim made by Satan 00:06:03.600 --> 00:06:05.660 was false. 00:06:05.660 --> 00:06:07.660 Yet when they reach the Levant, 00:06:07.660 --> 00:06:09.660 specifically Jerusalem (Bayt al-Maqdis), 00:06:09.660 --> 00:06:11.660 the Dajjal will appear 00:06:11.660 --> 00:06:14.980 in truth. 00:06:14.980 --> 00:06:16.980 The Dajjal 00:06:16.980 --> 00:06:18.980 is a creature from among Allah Almighty's creation 00:06:18.980 --> 00:06:20.980 who will claim divine lordship, 00:06:20.980 --> 00:06:22.980 and his trial will be the greatest trial 00:06:22.980 --> 00:06:24.980 since Allah created 00:06:24.980 --> 00:06:26.980 Adam until the establishment of the Hour. 00:06:26.980 --> 00:06:29.040 There was no prophet 00:06:29.040 --> 00:06:31.040 but that he warned his people against him, 00:06:31.040 --> 00:06:33.040 because of 00:06:33.040 --> 00:06:35.040 what Allah will create alongside him 00:06:35.040 --> 00:06:37.040 of immense supernatural feats 00:06:37.040 --> 00:06:39.040 that will dazzle minds 00:06:39.040 --> 00:06:41.100 and bewilder intellects. 00:06:41.100 --> 00:06:43.100 It has been reported that he will have 00:06:43.100 --> 00:06:45.100 a paradise and a fire with him, 00:06:45.100 --> 00:06:47.100 but his paradise will be a fire, 00:06:47.100 --> 00:06:49.100 and his fire will be a paradise; 00:06:49.100 --> 00:06:51.100 and he will have rivers of water 00:06:51.100 --> 00:06:53.100 and mountains of bread, 00:06:53.100 --> 00:06:55.100 He will command the sky to rain, 00:06:55.100 --> 00:06:57.100 and it will rain; 00:06:57.100 --> 00:06:59.100 and he will command the earth to bring forth vegetation, and it will sprout. 00:06:59.100 --> 00:07:01.100 Followed by him 00:07:01.100 --> 00:07:03.100 will be the treasures of the earth, like swarms of bees. 00:07:03.100 --> 00:07:05.100 And he will traverse 00:07:05.100 --> 00:07:07.100 the earth at immense speed, 00:07:07.100 --> 00:07:09.100 like a rain cloud driven 00:07:09.100 --> 00:07:11.139 by the wind. 00:07:11.139 --> 00:07:13.139 These supernatural feats 00:07:13.139 --> 00:07:15.139 will tempt and mislead the people, 00:07:15.139 --> 00:07:17.139 and a great multitude will follow him, 00:07:17.139 --> 00:07:19.139 particularly the Jews from among 00:07:19.139 --> 00:07:21.139 the Children of Israel. 00:07:21.139 --> 00:07:23.139 And the majority of those who go out to follow him 00:07:23.139 --> 00:07:25.139 will be women, 00:07:25.139 --> 00:07:27.139 to the extent that a man will return 00:07:27.139 --> 00:07:29.139 to his wife, his mother, 00:07:29.139 --> 00:07:31.139 his daughter, his sister, and his paternal aunt, 00:07:31.139 --> 00:07:33.139 and tie her up 00:07:33.139 --> 00:07:35.139 for fear that she might go out to join him. 00:07:35.139 --> 00:07:38.449 While the Muslims 00:07:38.449 --> 00:07:40.449 are preparing and getting ready 00:07:40.449 --> 00:07:42.449 to fight the Dajjal and his followers 00:07:42.449 --> 00:07:44.449 from among the Jews and the Christians, 00:07:44.449 --> 00:07:46.449 Allah Almighty will grant permission 00:07:46.449 --> 00:07:48.449 for Jesus, peace be upon him, 00:07:48.449 --> 00:07:50.449 to descend to the earth. 00:07:50.449 --> 00:07:52.579 He will descend at the white minaret 00:07:52.579 --> 00:07:54.579 east of Damascus, 00:07:54.579 --> 00:07:56.579 wearing two garments 00:07:56.579 --> 00:07:58.579 lightly dyed with saffron, 00:07:58.579 --> 00:08:00.579 resting his hands 00:08:00.579 --> 00:08:02.579 on the wings of two angels. 00:08:02.579 --> 00:08:04.579 When he lowers his head, 00:08:04.579 --> 00:08:06.579 droplets of water will fall from it, 00:08:06.579 --> 00:08:08.579 and when he raises it, 00:08:08.579 --> 00:08:10.579 beads like pearls 00:08:10.579 --> 00:08:12.800 will scatter from it. 00:08:12.800 --> 00:08:14.800 The time for the Dawn prayer will arrive, 00:08:14.800 --> 00:08:16.800 and the call to commence the prayer will be given. 00:08:16.800 --> 00:08:18.800 Jesus, 00:08:18.800 --> 00:08:20.800 peace be upon him, will approach them to pray with them. 00:08:20.800 --> 00:08:22.800 He will come to them 00:08:22.800 --> 00:08:24.800 when they have already straightened their ranks for prayer, 00:08:24.800 --> 00:08:26.800 with the Mahdi as their leader. 00:08:26.800 --> 00:08:28.899 The Mahdi will say to Jesus, 00:08:28.899 --> 00:08:30.899 peace be upon him: 00:08:30.899 --> 00:08:32.899 "O Spirit of Allah, 00:08:32.899 --> 00:08:34.899 come forward and lead the people in prayer." 00:08:34.899 --> 00:08:36.899 But Jesus, peace be upon him, will reply: 00:08:36.899 --> 00:08:38.899 "No, 00:08:38.899 --> 00:08:40.899 the call to prayer was established for you; 00:08:40.899 --> 00:08:43.090 indeed, some of you 00:08:43.090 --> 00:08:45.090 are leaders over others, 00:08:45.090 --> 00:08:47.090 as an honor from Allah for this 00:08:47.090 --> 00:08:49.090 Ummah." 00:08:49.090 --> 00:08:51.090 So Jesus, peace be upon him, will pray 00:08:51.090 --> 00:08:53.379 behind him. 00:08:53.379 --> 00:08:55.379 The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: 00:08:55.379 --> 00:08:57.379 "How will you be when 00:08:57.379 --> 00:08:59.379 the son of Mary descends among you, 00:08:59.379 --> 00:09:03.139 while your leader is from among yourselves?" 00:09:03.139 --> 00:09:05.139 At that time, the Dajjal will be 00:09:05.139 --> 00:09:07.139 besieging the Muslims, 00:09:07.139 --> 00:09:09.139 so Jesus, peace be upon him, 00:09:09.139 --> 00:09:11.139 will go out to face him. 00:09:11.139 --> 00:09:13.139 It is among the divine honors granted to Jesus 00:09:13.139 --> 00:09:15.139 that no disbeliever 00:09:15.139 --> 00:09:17.139 can smell his breath 00:09:17.139 --> 00:09:19.139 without dying; 00:09:19.139 --> 00:09:21.139 and his breath, peace be upon him, 00:09:21.139 --> 00:09:23.139 reaches as far as 00:09:23.139 --> 00:09:25.259 his sight can see. 00:09:25.259 --> 00:09:27.259 When the Dajjal sees him, 00:09:27.259 --> 00:09:29.259 he will dissolve just as salt dissolves 00:09:29.259 --> 00:09:31.259 in water; 00:09:31.259 --> 00:09:33.259 even if he were left alone, he would dissolve until 00:09:33.259 --> 00:09:35.259 he perished 00:09:35.259 --> 00:09:37.259 from it. 00:09:37.259 --> 00:09:39.259 But Jesus, peace be upon him, will pursue him 00:09:39.259 --> 00:09:41.259 until he overtakes him at the gate of 00:09:41.259 --> 00:09:43.259 Ludd— 00:09:43.259 --> 00:09:45.259 which is a town in Palestine, 00:09:45.259 --> 00:09:47.259 near Jerusalem. 00:09:47.259 --> 00:09:49.259 Jesus, peace be upon him, will say: 00:09:49.259 --> 00:09:51.259 "I have for you 00:09:51.259 --> 00:09:53.259 a strike that will not miss me." 00:09:53.259 --> 00:09:55.259 He will strike him with his spear 00:09:55.259 --> 00:09:57.259 and kill him, 00:09:57.259 --> 00:09:59.259 ridding mankind of his evil. 00:09:59.259 --> 00:10:01.259 He will then show them his blood 00:10:01.259 --> 00:10:03.259 on his spear. 00:10:03.259 --> 00:10:05.259 This will be done to make it clearly evident 00:10:05.259 --> 00:10:07.259 to the believers 00:10:07.259 --> 00:10:09.259 that the Dajjal was merely 00:10:09.259 --> 00:10:11.259 deceiving the eyes of the people; 00:10:11.259 --> 00:10:13.259 for had he truly possessed 00:10:13.259 --> 00:10:15.259 divine power as he claimed, 00:10:15.259 --> 00:10:17.259 he would have repelled being killed 00:10:17.259 --> 00:10:19.259 and dying from himself. 00:10:19.259 --> 00:10:21.259 Allah will defeat his followers 00:10:21.259 --> 00:10:23.259 from among the Jews and others, 00:10:23.259 --> 00:10:25.259 and they will be utterly routed and slain. 00:10:25.259 --> 00:10:27.259 There will not remain any creature, 00:10:27.259 --> 00:10:29.259 tree, or stone 00:10:29.259 --> 00:10:31.259 behind which a Jew conceals himself, 00:10:31.259 --> 00:10:33.259 except that it will speak on that day, 00:10:33.259 --> 00:10:35.259 saying: 00:10:35.259 --> 00:10:37.259 "O Muslim, O servant of Allah, 00:10:37.259 --> 00:10:39.259 here is a Jew 00:10:39.259 --> 00:10:41.259 behind me, come and kill him!"— 00:10:41.259 --> 00:10:43.259 except for the boxthorn tree (al-gharqad), 00:10:43.259 --> 00:10:45.259 for it is one of the trees 00:10:45.259 --> 00:10:47.419 of the Jews. 00:10:47.419 --> 00:10:49.419 Then Jesus, peace be upon him, will come to 00:10:49.419 --> 00:10:51.419 a people whom Allah has protected 00:10:51.419 --> 00:10:53.419 from the Dajjal. 00:10:53.419 --> 00:10:55.419 He will wipe their faces 00:10:55.419 --> 00:10:57.419 and inform them of their ranks 00:10:57.419 --> 00:11:00.509 in Paradise. 00:11:00.509 --> 00:11:02.509 Then Jesus, peace be upon him, will assume 00:11:02.509 --> 00:11:04.509 authority and rule over the earth, 00:11:04.509 --> 00:11:06.509 judging by the Sacred Law of our Prophet 00:11:06.509 --> 00:11:08.509 Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. 00:11:08.509 --> 00:11:10.509 The people 00:11:10.509 --> 00:11:12.509 will pledge allegiance to him, 00:11:12.509 --> 00:11:14.509 and he will enact righteous reforms: 00:11:14.509 --> 00:11:16.509 he will abolish the creed of the Christians, 00:11:16.509 --> 00:11:18.509 break the cross, 00:11:18.509 --> 00:11:20.509 kill the swine 00:11:20.509 --> 00:11:22.509 so that it is never eaten after that day, 00:11:22.509 --> 00:11:24.509 and abolish the jizyah tax 00:11:24.509 --> 00:11:26.509 from the People of the Book. 00:11:26.509 --> 00:11:28.509 He will accept nothing from them except Islam: 00:11:28.509 --> 00:11:30.509 they will either embrace Islam 00:11:30.509 --> 00:11:32.509 or be fought. 00:11:32.509 --> 00:11:34.509 Goodness will spread during his era, 00:11:34.509 --> 00:11:36.509 and wealth will become so abundant 00:11:36.509 --> 00:11:38.509 that no one will accept charity. 00:11:38.509 --> 00:11:40.639 Then Allah will send 00:11:40.639 --> 00:11:42.639 a heavy rain that will wash 00:11:42.639 --> 00:11:44.639 the earth until it leaves it 00:11:44.639 --> 00:11:46.669 like a smooth mirror. 00:11:46.669 --> 00:11:48.669 Allah will command the earth to bring forth 00:11:48.669 --> 00:11:50.669 its fruit and restore 00:11:50.669 --> 00:11:52.669 its blessing. 00:11:52.669 --> 00:11:54.669 On that day, an entire group 00:11:54.669 --> 00:11:56.669 of people will eat from a single pomegranate 00:11:56.669 --> 00:11:58.669 and seek shade under its peel. 00:11:58.669 --> 00:12:00.669 Blessings will be placed 00:12:00.669 --> 00:12:02.669 in milk, 00:12:02.669 --> 00:12:04.669 such that a single milch camel— 00:12:04.669 --> 00:12:06.669 newly delivered of her calf— 00:12:06.669 --> 00:12:08.669 a milch camel 00:12:08.669 --> 00:12:10.669 will suffice a large company 00:12:10.669 --> 00:12:12.669 of people; 00:12:12.669 --> 00:12:14.669 a milch cow 00:12:14.669 --> 00:12:16.669 will suffice an entire tribe of people; 00:12:16.669 --> 00:12:18.669 and a milch sheep 00:12:18.669 --> 00:12:20.669 will suffice a clan, 00:12:20.669 --> 00:12:22.669 which is a group of close relatives. 00:12:22.669 --> 00:12:25.919 The two Shaykhs (al-Bukhari and Muslim) narrated 00:12:25.919 --> 00:12:27.919 from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, 00:12:27.919 --> 00:12:29.919 who said: 00:12:29.919 --> 00:12:31.919 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: 00:12:31.919 --> 00:12:33.919 "By the One in Whose hand 00:12:33.919 --> 00:12:35.919 is my soul, 00:12:35.919 --> 00:12:37.919 the son of Mary will soon descend among you 00:12:37.919 --> 00:12:39.919 as a just judge. 00:12:39.919 --> 00:12:41.919 He will break the cross, 00:12:41.919 --> 00:12:43.919 kill the swine, 00:12:43.919 --> 00:12:45.919 and abolish the jizyah. 00:12:45.919 --> 00:12:47.919 Wealth will overflow 00:12:47.919 --> 00:12:49.919 to the point that no one will accept it, 00:12:49.919 --> 00:12:51.919 and a single prostration 00:12:51.919 --> 00:12:53.919 will be better than this world 00:12:53.919 --> 00:12:55.980 and all that is in it." 00:12:55.980 --> 00:12:57.980 Then Abu Hurayrah would say: 00:12:57.980 --> 00:12:59.980 "Recite if you wish: 00:12:59.980 --> 00:13:01.980 'And there is none from the People 00:13:01.980 --> 00:13:03.980 of the Scripture but 00:13:03.980 --> 00:13:05.980 “There is not one of the People of the Scripture but will believe in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them -” (4:159) 00:13:05.980 --> 00:13:07.980 and on the Day of Resurrection 00:13:07.980 --> 00:13:09.980 he will be a witness against them.'" 00:13:09.980 --> 00:13:12.080 Meaning that not one 00:13:12.080 --> 00:13:14.080 of the Christians 00:13:14.080 --> 00:13:16.080 will remain at the end of time 00:13:16.080 --> 00:13:18.080 except that he will believe that Jesus 00:13:18.080 --> 00:13:20.080 is the servant of Allah and His Messenger, 00:13:20.080 --> 00:13:22.080 and His Word which He bestowed 00:13:22.080 --> 00:13:24.080 upon Mary, and a spirit from Him; 00:13:24.080 --> 00:13:26.080 and he will abandon his corrupt belief, 00:13:26.080 --> 00:13:28.080 and that will take place before 00:13:28.080 --> 00:13:30.080 the death of Jesus, peace be upon him. 00:13:30.080 --> 00:13:33.330 During the time of Jesus, peace be upon him, Allah will cause 00:13:33.330 --> 00:13:35.330 to perish 00:13:35.330 --> 00:13:37.330 all religious communities 00:13:37.330 --> 00:13:39.330 except Islam. 00:13:39.330 --> 00:13:41.330 Justice will spread among the people, 00:13:41.330 --> 00:13:43.330 and rancor, 00:13:43.330 --> 00:13:45.330 mutual hatred, and envy will vanish. 00:13:45.330 --> 00:13:47.330 Security will prevail 00:13:47.330 --> 00:13:49.330 across the earth, 00:13:49.330 --> 00:13:51.330 so much so that lions will graze alongside camels, 00:13:51.330 --> 00:13:53.330 leopards with cows, 00:13:53.330 --> 00:13:55.330 and wolves with sheep. 00:13:55.330 --> 00:13:57.330 Allah will strip away 00:13:57.330 --> 00:13:59.330 the poison from every venomous creature, 00:13:59.330 --> 00:14:01.330 to the point that children will play 00:14:01.330 --> 00:14:03.330 with snakes and scorpions 00:14:03.330 --> 00:14:05.549 without suffering any harm. 00:14:05.549 --> 00:14:07.549 And while people are in this state, 00:14:07.549 --> 00:14:09.549 Allah Almighty will permit 00:14:09.549 --> 00:14:11.549 the barrier of Dhu al-Qarnayn to collapse, 00:14:11.549 --> 00:14:13.549 and the people of 00:14:13.549 --> 00:14:15.549 Gog and Magog will emerge, 00:14:15.549 --> 00:14:17.549 “Until, when Gog and Magog are let loose, and they hasten out of every mound,” (21:96) 00:14:17.549 --> 00:14:19.549 swarming down 00:14:19.549 --> 00:14:21.549 from every elevated place on earth, 00:14:21.549 --> 00:14:23.620 rushing forth swiftly. 00:14:23.620 --> 00:14:25.620 Then Allah Almighty will reveal 00:14:25.620 --> 00:14:27.620 to 'Isa, peace be upon him: 00:14:27.620 --> 00:14:29.620 "I have brought forth servants of Mine 00:14:29.620 --> 00:14:31.620 whom no one has the power 00:14:31.620 --> 00:14:33.620 to fight; 00:14:33.620 --> 00:14:35.620 so take My servants safely 00:14:35.620 --> 00:14:37.840 to Mount Tur." 00:14:37.840 --> 00:14:39.840 Thus the Prophet of Allah, 'Isa, 00:14:39.840 --> 00:14:41.840 peace be upon him, along with the Muslims who are with him, 00:14:41.840 --> 00:14:43.840 will take refuge on the mountain, 00:14:43.840 --> 00:14:45.840 while the rest of 00:14:45.840 --> 00:14:47.840 the Muslims retreat into their fortified cities, 00:14:47.840 --> 00:14:49.840 gathering together with them 00:14:49.840 --> 00:14:51.840 their livestock. 00:14:51.840 --> 00:14:53.870 Gog and Magog will then spread 00:14:53.870 --> 00:14:55.870 across the land, 00:14:55.870 --> 00:14:57.870 wreaking havoc by slaughtering 00:14:57.870 --> 00:14:59.870 and devastating everything in their path. 00:14:59.870 --> 00:15:01.870 They will pass by the Sea of Galilee 00:15:01.870 --> 00:15:03.870 and drink up all its water, 00:15:03.870 --> 00:15:05.870 and when the last of them pass by, 00:15:05.870 --> 00:15:07.870 they will say, 00:15:07.870 --> 00:15:09.870 "There once was, in this place, 00:15:09.870 --> 00:15:11.870 water." 00:15:11.870 --> 00:15:13.870 Then they will overpower the inhabitants 00:15:13.870 --> 00:15:15.940 of the earth and say, 00:15:15.940 --> 00:15:17.940 "These are the inhabitants of the earth, 00:15:17.940 --> 00:15:19.940 and we have finished them off; 00:15:19.940 --> 00:15:21.940 now let us fight 00:15:21.940 --> 00:15:23.940 the inhabitants of heaven!" 00:15:23.940 --> 00:15:25.940 One of them will shoot his arrow 00:15:25.940 --> 00:15:27.940 into the sky, 00:15:27.940 --> 00:15:29.940 and it will return stained with blood, 00:15:29.940 --> 00:15:31.940 so they will boast, 00:15:31.940 --> 00:15:33.940 "We have slain the inhabitants of heaven!" 00:15:33.940 --> 00:15:37.340 The Prophet of Allah, 'Isa, 00:15:37.340 --> 00:15:39.340 peace be upon him, 00:15:39.340 --> 00:15:41.340 and his companions will be besieged on the mountain, 00:15:41.340 --> 00:15:43.340 suffering severe hardship and hunger, 00:15:43.340 --> 00:15:45.340 to the point that the head of an ox 00:15:45.340 --> 00:15:47.340 for one of them 00:15:47.340 --> 00:15:49.340 will be dearer than a hundred dinars 00:15:49.340 --> 00:15:51.440 to any of us today. 00:15:51.440 --> 00:15:53.440 Then 'Isa, peace be upon him, 00:15:53.440 --> 00:15:55.440 and his companions will supplicate against them, 00:15:55.440 --> 00:15:57.440 so Allah will send upon the people of 00:15:57.440 --> 00:15:59.440 Gog and Magog 00:15:59.440 --> 00:16:01.440 parasitic worms that will infest their necks, 00:16:01.440 --> 00:16:03.440 killing them, 00:16:03.440 --> 00:16:05.440 so that they all perish 00:16:05.440 --> 00:16:07.440 in a single moment, 00:16:07.440 --> 00:16:09.500 dying like a single soul. 00:16:09.500 --> 00:16:11.500 In the morning, the Muslims 00:16:11.500 --> 00:16:13.500 will hear no sound from them, 00:16:13.500 --> 00:16:15.500 though they had been besieging them, 00:16:15.500 --> 00:16:17.500 and they will say, 00:16:17.500 --> 00:16:19.500 "Who will sell his soul for Allah's sake, 00:16:19.500 --> 00:16:21.500 and go down to see 00:16:21.500 --> 00:16:23.500 what they have done?" 00:16:23.500 --> 00:16:25.500 So a man from among the Muslims will descend, 00:16:25.500 --> 00:16:27.500 having braced himself 00:16:27.500 --> 00:16:29.500 for the certainty that they would kill him; 00:16:29.500 --> 00:16:31.500 but he will find them all dead. 00:16:31.500 --> 00:16:33.500 He will call out to his fellow Muslims, 00:16:33.500 --> 00:16:35.500 "Rejoice! 00:16:35.500 --> 00:16:37.500 For your enemy has been destroyed!" 00:16:37.500 --> 00:16:39.500 The people will rejoice, 00:16:39.500 --> 00:16:41.500 come out of their fortresses, 00:16:41.500 --> 00:16:43.500 and release the livestock 00:16:43.500 --> 00:16:45.500 that had been confined with them. 00:16:45.500 --> 00:16:47.659 Then the Prophet of Allah, 00:16:47.659 --> 00:16:49.659 'Isa, peace be upon him, 00:16:49.659 --> 00:16:51.659 and his companions will descend to the land, 00:16:51.659 --> 00:16:53.659 but they will not find upon it 00:16:53.659 --> 00:16:55.659 the space of even a handspan 00:16:55.659 --> 00:16:57.659 that is not filled with their putrid corpses. 00:16:57.659 --> 00:16:59.889 So the Prophet of Allah, 00:16:59.889 --> 00:17:01.889 'Isa, peace be upon him, 00:17:01.889 --> 00:17:03.889 and his companions will turn humbly to Allah 00:17:03.889 --> 00:17:06.109 and supplicate Him. 00:17:06.109 --> 00:17:08.109 Then Allah will send gigantic birds, 00:17:08.109 --> 00:17:10.109 whose necks are like the necks of Bactrian camels, 00:17:10.109 --> 00:17:12.109 and they will carry their corpses 00:17:12.109 --> 00:17:14.109 and cast them wherever 00:17:14.109 --> 00:17:16.180 Allah wills. 00:17:16.180 --> 00:17:18.180 Some of them will be thrown into deep pits 00:17:18.180 --> 00:17:20.180 in the ground, 00:17:20.180 --> 00:17:22.180 while others will be hurled 00:17:22.180 --> 00:17:24.369 into the sea. 00:17:24.369 --> 00:17:26.369 Then Allah will send down rain 00:17:26.369 --> 00:17:28.369 that will wash the earth clean of their stench, 00:17:28.369 --> 00:17:30.369 and the Muslims will finally find relief 00:17:30.369 --> 00:17:32.369 from their evil. 00:17:32.369 --> 00:17:34.369 They will kindle fires 00:17:34.369 --> 00:17:36.369 from the weapons of Gog and Magog— 00:17:36.369 --> 00:17:38.369 from their spears and bows— 00:17:38.369 --> 00:17:40.369 for seven years. 00:17:40.369 --> 00:17:44.000 'Isa, peace be upon him, will complete 00:17:44.000 --> 00:17:46.000 forty years on earth: 00:17:46.000 --> 00:17:48.000 thirty-three 00:17:48.000 --> 00:17:50.000 of them before 00:17:50.000 --> 00:17:52.000 he was raised up to heaven, 00:17:52.000 --> 00:17:54.000 and seven years after descending 00:17:54.000 --> 00:17:56.190 from it. 00:17:56.190 --> 00:17:58.190 Then 'Isa, peace be upon him, will enter into the state of ihram 00:17:58.190 --> 00:18:00.190 for Hajj and 'Umrah, 00:18:00.190 --> 00:18:02.190 heading to Makkah to the Sacred House 00:18:02.190 --> 00:18:04.190 and performing the pilgrimage rites. 00:18:04.190 --> 00:18:06.220 Then he will visit Madinah 00:18:06.220 --> 00:18:08.220 and come to the grave of the Prophet, 00:18:08.220 --> 00:18:10.220 offering greetings of peace upon him, 00:18:10.220 --> 00:18:12.220 and the Prophet, 00:18:12.220 --> 00:18:14.259 peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 00:18:14.259 --> 00:18:16.259 will return his greeting. 00:18:16.259 --> 00:18:18.480 And in Madinah, 00:18:18.480 --> 00:18:20.480 Allah will take the soul of 'Isa, 00:18:20.480 --> 00:18:22.480 peace be upon him, 00:18:22.480 --> 00:18:24.480 so he will pass away, 00:18:24.480 --> 00:18:26.480 and the Muslims 00:18:26.480 --> 00:18:28.480 will pray the funeral prayer over him. 00:18:28.480 --> 00:18:30.480 He will be buried in the Prophet's chamber, 00:18:30.480 --> 00:18:32.480 beside the Prophet, 00:18:32.480 --> 00:18:34.480 peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 00:18:34.480 --> 00:18:36.480 and his companion Abu Bakr, 00:18:36.480 --> 00:18:41.480 as mentioned by al-Bukhari in his Tarikh and by al-Tabarani. 00:18:41.480 --> 00:18:46.480 And in al-Mawahib al-Ladunniyyah by al-Qastallani, may Allah have mercy on him, he said, 00:18:46.480 --> 00:18:49.480 "There remains in the chamber the space for a single grave, 00:18:49.480 --> 00:18:52.480 in which 'Isa ibn Maryam will be buried, 00:18:52.480 --> 00:18:55.480 and his will be the fourth grave." 00:18:55.480 --> 00:19:00.210 Afterwards, people will live in abundant goodness and blessing; 00:19:00.210 --> 00:19:04.210 their provision will be plentiful, their livelihood pure and pleasant, 00:19:04.210 --> 00:19:06.210 and they will have no need to toil, 00:19:06.210 --> 00:19:10.210 as the earth's blessings will burst forth from every corner. 00:19:10.210 --> 00:19:16.299 Then Allah will send a cool, pleasant breeze from the direction of the Levant, 00:19:16.299 --> 00:19:20.299 leaving no one on the face of the earth in whose heart 00:19:20.299 --> 00:19:24.299 is an atom's weight of goodness or faith 00:19:24.299 --> 00:19:26.299 without taking their soul, 00:19:26.299 --> 00:19:30.559 so that none remain on earth except the most wicked of creation, 00:19:30.559 --> 00:19:33.559 and upon them the Hour will strike. 00:19:33.559 --> 00:19:35.559 On the Day of Resurrection, 00:19:35.559 --> 00:19:42.289 Allah Almighty will address His servant and messenger 'Isa, peace be upon him, 00:19:42.289 --> 00:19:48.289 questioning him in the presence of those who took him and his mother as deities besides Allah. 00:19:48.289 --> 00:19:55.450 “And when Allah saith: O Jesus, son of Mary! Didst thou say unto mankind: Take me and my mother for two gods beside Allah? he saith: Be glorified! It was not mine to utter that to which I had no right. If I used to say it, then Thou knewest it. Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I know not what is in Thy Mind. Lo! That is the great triumph.” (5:119) 00:21:53.930 --> 00:22:05.930 "For them are gardens beneath which rivers flow, 00:22:05.930 --> 00:22:09.930 abiding eternally therein forever; 00:22:09.930 --> 00:22:13.930 Allah is well-pleased with them, and they are well-pleased with Him; 00:22:13.930 --> 00:22:16.930 that is the supreme triumph." 00:22:16.930 --> 00:22:23.930 To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all within them, 00:22:23.930 --> 00:22:30.930 and He is over all things competent. 00:22:30.930 --> 00:22:37.269 And in conclusion to the story of the Prophet of Allah, 'Isa, peace be upon him, 00:22:37.269 --> 00:22:42.269 we remind you of the exhortation of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 00:22:42.269 --> 00:22:44.269 where he said, 00:22:44.269 --> 00:22:50.269 "I hope that, if my life is extended, I will meet 'Isa ibn Maryam; 00:22:50.269 --> 00:22:57.400 but if death takes me early, whoever of you meets him should convey my greetings of peace to him." 00:22:57.400 --> 00:23:02.400 And Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "O children of my brother, 00:23:02.400 --> 00:23:09.559 if you see him, say, 'Abu Hurayrah conveys greetings of peace to you.'" 00:23:09.559 --> 00:23:14.559 Greetings of peace from our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, 00:23:14.559 --> 00:23:18.559 greetings of peace from Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, 00:23:18.559 --> 00:23:25.559 and greetings of peace from all of us to the Prophet of Allah, 'Isa, peace be upon him! 00:23:25.559 --> 00:23:29.900 And here is glad tidings for all of us, 00:23:29.900 --> 00:23:33.900 for the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: 00:23:33.900 --> 00:23:38.900 "Whoever testifies that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, 00:23:38.900 --> 00:23:41.900 and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, 00:23:41.900 --> 00:23:45.900 and that 'Isa is the servant of Allah and His messenger, 00:23:45.900 --> 00:23:49.900 “O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not "Three" - Cease! (it is) better for you! - Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth.
