Diligence in acts of obedience yields further guidance.
Allah the Exalted says:
“As for those who strive in Us, We surely guide them to Our paths, and lo! Allah is with the good.” (29:69)

It has been said in its Tafsir:
Those who act upon what they know,
Allah will guide them to what they do not know.
This has been repeated in the Qur'an,
establishing that acts of righteousness related to the heart and the limbs
are a cause for guidance and its increase.
Allah the Exalted says:
"Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds,
their Lord will guide them because of their faith."
And He, the Exalted, says:
“We narrate unto thee their story with truth. Lo! they were young men who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.” (18:13)
And He, the Exalted, says:
"And Allah increases those who have been guided in guidance."
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"Prayer is a light,
charity is a proof,
and patience is a radiance."
Narrated by Muslim.
So, for one who possesses light, proof, and radiance,
how could Allah not grant him insight into the realities of matters?
He increases him in guidance upon guidance.
A confirmation of this is also
the statement of Allah in the hadith qudsi:
"My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary deeds until I love him.
When I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears,
his sight with which he sees,
his hand with which he strikes,
and his foot with which he walks."
Narrated by al-Bukhari.
Thus, whoever is granted success in being diligent in acts of obedience
will possess penetrating insight,
a tranquil soul,
and will increase in guidance upon guidance.
