He was overcome by envy and did not respond to his invitation
Rather, the enemy set him up and left the city
He witnessed the battle of Uhud with the Quraysh
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, called him the sinner instead of the monk
In the third year of the Hijra, she married a great female companion
Her name is Jamila bint Abdullah bin Abi bin Salul, may God be pleased with her
So I entered upon it the night before the Battle of Uhud
I had asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, permission to spend the night with her
So he gave me permission
When I prayed the morning prayer
I began to want to join the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
So my wife, Jamila, obliged me
So I went back and was with her
So I became estranged from her
When I heard the caller for jihad
I wanted out
So she sent to four of her people
Let them bear witness that I have entered into it
Then I went out and joined the Muslim army
And when the fighting started
The two teams joined forces
I met Abu Sufyan bin Harb during the battle
So we fought with swords
Then he was hit by a blow and he fell
When I attacked him with the sword to kill him
Shaddad bin Al-Aswad saw me
He stabbed me in the back with his spear and killed me
And after the end of the battle
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw me
And the angels wash me between heaven and earth
With baking water in a silver plate
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Ask his wife about that
So ask her
She said that when he heard the caller for jihad
He left me while he was beside me
Then she was told
What I witnessed
And she said
I saw as if the sky had opened
So my husband entered it and then I closed it
So I said this testimony
So I testified that he had entered into me
So I won't be accused
So they mentioned that to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
And he said
That was washed by the angels
Then they found me among the dead, with water dripping on my head
And not near water
So I learned about angels washing
Al-Hayani is proud of the Ansar
Aws and Khazraj
The Aws said
From us angels wash
They mean it to me
Among us is the one for whom the throne of the Most Gracious shook
Saad bin Moaz
Among us are those whose backs are protected
Asim bin Thabit
Among us is one whose testimony was approved
With the testimony of two men
Khuzaymah bin Thabit
The Khazrajians said
Four of us collected the Qur’an
During the era of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
No one else collected it
Zaid bin Thabit
And Abu Zaid
And Ubayy bin Ka'b
And Moaz bin Jabal
May God be pleased with everyone
