Two simple black slippers, so he put them on, then performed ablution and wiped over them

On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said
I presented the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, as a piece of jewelry from the Negus
He gave her a gold ring with an Ethiopian clove as a gift
Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, took a stick with some of his fingers
He turned away from it, then called Umamah bint Abi Al-Aas
His daughter's daughter, so he said, "Behave with this, my son."

In Rajab of the ninth year of the Hijra
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, mourned him to his companions on the day of his death
He prayed for him in absentia

فقال استغفروا لآخيكم

وكبر أربعة كبيرات

So stand up and pray for your brother, the right one

Al-Najashi, whose name is Ashamah
King of Abyssinia
Numbered among the Companions, may God be pleased with them
He was one of those who practiced Islam well
He did not migrate and had no vision
And my followers from the face

The people prayed over him in absentia

He had no one to pray for him
Because the companions who were immigrants to him
They left him as immigrants to Medina in the year Khaybar

Imam Muslim narrated in his Sahih
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
He wrote to Khosrau and to Caesar
And to the Negus and to every mighty person
يدعوهم إلى الله تعالى
He is not the Negus upon whom the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed
Al-Hakim narrated in his Mustadrak and Al-Bayhaqi in the evidence of prophecy
On the authority of Ibn Ishaq, he said:
This is a letter from the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, to the Negus
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
This is a book from Muhammad, the Messenger of God
To Negus Al-Asham, the great Abyssinian
Peace be upon those who follow guidance
And he believed in God and His Messenger
He bore witness that there is no god but God alone, without partners
He did not have a wife or a son
And that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger
وأدعوك بدعاية الله
For I am his messenger
So I accept Islam
O People of the Book, come to a common word between us and you
We should not worship anyone but God and not associate anything with Him
Do not take one another as lords other than God
If they turn away, then say, “They bear witness that we are Muslims.”
If you refuse, then you will bear the sin of the Christians from your people
Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir said
الظاهر أن هذا الكتاب
It is attributed to the Negus who was after the Muslim
صاحب جعفر وأصحابه
That's when he wrote to the kings of the earth
He calls them to God Almighty before the conquest
كما كتب إله رقل عظيم الروم
And the Caesar of the Levant
وأي لا كسرى ملك الفرس
وأي لا صاحب مصر
وأي لا النجاشي
وكلها فيها هذه الآية
It is from Surat Al Imran
It is civil without dispute
This book refers to the second, not to the first
And what he said about it
